Actually, this video shows that 5k mats are way too low for crafting a whole primal set. Primals have a drop rate of 0,25%, so you would need 2k mats for each primal, that would be 26k in total (weapon and off hand included)
@@TheRealDecap agreed - there is a video Wudijo just put out "farewell soul shards" where he was rolling a weapon to make it primal, but during the entire roll, he got like dozens of ancient rolls and he said those ancients were already perfectly acceptable standards (98% perfect vs. 100% primal perfect) - ends the video laughing by agreeing with a twitch chat "primals are like skins". In other words, ancient rolls are just as fine as most primal rolls for large chunk of the gameplay in D3
I’ve had double primals drop in 1 GR. Also 2 in 1 NR. As far as bounties go I can sometimes use 1000 and get a good primal and sometimes use 2000 and get nothing but a good ancient.
I play on console and did the same thing and found that pieces rerolled are linear. If you have 2 pieces at some point in reroll the will become the same piece. The primeial roll depends on where you are in the line with said piece.
Which makes sense, since everything else you can get ancient from Kadala for 25 shards/item by just farming forgotten souls for reforging in GRs. It's just weapons and jewellery that are pain in the ass (and usually also the biggest power boost if it rolls good).
Yeah I agree I mean can't you just farm On like Torment 1 or like Hard setting on bounties cutting the time by half if not 3 quarters for all those materials. Cause I cleared all the Bounties using my barbarian in under 6 minutes
Yes try using wrath of the wastes set combined Bul-kathos Set with Ambos pride have your Whirlwind set to vortex bringing all Enemies to you with ground stomp and having your Speed Increased with War cry or battle rage. T With sprinter on voila with Item effect fleeting shrine with all that will boost your speed 225% faster on top with set items boom fast as hell
Thanks for the video, it was fun :) Primal is mostly beneficial for weapons in my opinion also for items, where secondary stats have a range (like Crudest Boots for Inna monk). You got only 2 primals in 1000 reforging and the shoulder wasn't the best stat (can be nitpicking)
Correct buy you can also take the primal to Myriam to enchant it for higher Stat buffs what I like to about it is you can even socket the primal weapon and off hand with Chest armor shoulders n gloves when primal as well you can enchant them with buffs with Then take it back to the cube to augment the Primal for better stats you can even increase the quality of the primal to higher which allows the stats in itself to go higher but with augmentation it cost a level 50+ Legendary gem with A primal Legendary weapon and a Royal Gem of each type then augmentation will work

what if you tried farming 400 legendary items and THEN crafting a primal? I think the RNG works in that way, so maybe you don't need as much bounty mats. IDK, it's just an idea. Maybe someone should try and see if it works, in general I've always avoided bounties and learned not to care too much about primals. It would be nice to complete a set, but it's not necessary for gameplay.
I remember i had about 150 bounty mats last season at some point and used them to get a primal Currias of Justice for the Monk? And it was down to the wire but i got it on my 2nd to last roll and it was perfect so i kept it before rolling again

Primal is just hard to find in good roll, but you dont need it, primal is just Anicent items with full stats, decent anicent Vs the same but just Primal anicent is about 6-7% more dmg, less then half tier..

Short answer no way in fucking hell can you get a full set of usable primals with 5k mats...on the ptr it took about 25k bounty mats to get all pieces primal on my dh and about 50k mats on my monk....so ya gl with 5k
Much better to do rifts for primal. I got entire Marauder sets except chest, focus and constraint, three Yang’s recurve all from rifts and update legendary in cube.
The PRIMAL RNG in this game is a bad joke , seriously.....i almost never farm bounties and try to reroll because is so damn bad.....it pays much more to just grind paragons and see what you get....season 25 is the 1st season where i actually completed the 150 and with the class i palyed the less :MONK....i got tons of good rolls PRIMALS doing speed runs ......Wudi has an excellent video where he shows the futility of trying to get PRIMALS...cheers mate....sry for your bad luck.
Definitely challenging. I am not sure if I will do another bounty grind this season to try to make some primals. I mean they look nice but more often than not, a good ancient is better than the primal you end up getting.

This season i try going 1 bounty run per day and am saving for the end for a huge rerole session
Not a bad plan. Don't forget to always do the weekly challenge as well. a few minutes of work for free materials.

Yes, primal items are available in non season. You have to complete a Greater Rift 70 solo in order to unlock the chance to get one.

Getting an ancient is WAAAY easier than you think since its just 1/10 chance per legendary. Compared to the horrible 1/400 chance for a primal.
