But it showed me we got problems Houston, no propane fireplace, no woodstove and hubby just bought a genny, a big 3500w with no wheels on it - and couldnt drag it thru a ft of snow...so I sat inside with my EB70 with 5w bulb and electric blanket🙋♀️🇨🇦‼️
hello from the cool ozarks dave! been missing hearing your very informative and valuable videos! i also have solar with 3000w portable power station for back up. i also keep 4 / 5gal, of drinking water in my rv. i use my portable oil filled electric heaters instead of my propane furnance. with 4 tanks as back up. i also keep my Buddy heater handy with my gas generators. these came in handy a couple of weeks ago when the temp droped below 20 and 3 days of ice storm of 2in. ice outside. glad i had my sewer hose wrapped with electrical thermostat to keep my hoses open. you never know when life goes south. but it is comforting to know you are prepared! tight lines Dave!
Good to see you up and about ! Always good to be prepared ! Two years ago we lost power for 8 days. The temp went down to about -5 below zero F. I live in an all electric house. I had a generator about 700W of solar and an 1700W solar generator. We heated 1 room with a small gas camping heater. Glad I was prepared. 2 cats 1 dog and me and my wife . My home stood up very well. Even after 8 days the temperature never got below 42 F in the unheated rooms. Lost pool equipment but that was it. Hot food and coffee go along way in bad times ! 2021 Fort Worth Blizzard
We're om the same page. My set up is a little more robust but on the same track. I also have some backup heater options with the Diesel heater as a last ditch scenario. In other words, being prepared is peace of mind.
Truly hope all is well now. I live in KY. It also got very cold here. I did well thanks to the good Lord. Also I stock. I seen on TV your part of state was going to get it also. Thanks for video.

Its like if you prep, you must be off grid too. Some of those folks lose their mind in comments. I am not sure where I wanna take the channel, but feel RV industry is dead. I tried doing prepper/gardening videos on Dave & Muppy channel, my views were horrible. Low views and comments. So I am still pondering
LOL, here is what is crazy. I did the gargle with Listerine trick, I got sick but no sore throat. My mom caught it 2 days after me, she did not do Listerine, she did salt water, she had sore throat 4-5 days.
I'm glad that you have those vertebrae vertical again. I have heard that one can never be too rich, too thin, or have too many backups. I don't know about the first two but the third one certainly is true. Happy to see a vid from you again. Be well.

Sorry to hear about your bout with the Flu. Of course it’s going to be at the worst possible time. Too bad you didn’t have my phone number. I’d have run over with extra heat, cooked and played nurse. I too know what it’s like being single. Sometimes it sucks. I’ve put off buying a new RV for a while. Going to wait and see what happens in this crazy world.
Thanks Arthur. As for the RV industry I think used market is going to crash hard. Prices on used are dropping fast. I think this will continue over next 2-3 years maybe longer
I'm in the north east so I'm well insulated. Is your home insulated? It helps in the summer and the winter. Funny you bought your batteries, some of these You tubers get thousands of dollars worth of equipment. Seems like they are constantly giving out solar generators and lithium batteries.

I’m in a double wide mobile home. So it’s not as insulted as I’d like it to be. As for lithium batteries, that was a good move going to them
