Your licensing agreement need to be reworked if I’m going to work with you on this beat. If I were to have bought this, which now I’m extremely hesitant to, because section 8 is unfair as to the publishing rights. It claims I must say you wrote half of the song and own half of it, AND you’re trying to take 100% of the publishers rights when it has ALWAYS been 50% 50%? How do you think that works? You get 100% of the royalties that way! That’s completely wrong. And, you also say you wrote half of the song, while not even being involved? If you rewrite it to say that you claim 50% of the publishers share, instead of 100% and it’s a completely even split, I may consider. I’d rather have it be 70% me 30% like on Twitch, but I’ll abstain from that. Message me back on here if you want to have a fair contract, cause I have a legitimate hit for this. What would be fair to me is saying you created the beat, I created the music, we both split the ENTIRETY of the possible revenue 50-50, and you get credited in all streams and descriptions of whatever platforms the music goes on? Hey man, I'm not great at the business side of music, but as far as I'm aware, publishing is split 50-50, which is the regular practice in most cases, and you keep 100% of the master. I've worked with plenty of artists, and that's how we've done business. I'm reading section 8 of the contract, and I honestly don't see where it says that I keep 100% of the pub. It clearly states in section 5 that the pub is split 50-50. Please reach out if I'm mistaken.
