Počitelj
Nalazi se na lijevoj obali rijeke Neretve, na glavnoj cesti od Mostara do Metkovića, na sjeveru grada Čapljine.
U dolini Neretve, glavno uporište u odbrani od Turaka bilo je u Počitelju. Ovu tvrđavu je sagradio kralj Tvrtko godine 1383., i imala je stratešku ulogu u kontroliranju puta do mora dolinom rijeke Neretve. Danas, povijesni gradić Počitelj, izgrađen ispod tvrđave, ima orijentalni izgled i kao takav je potpuno u funkciji turizma i kulturnih priredbi.

It is located on the left bank of the Neretva River, on the main road from Mostar to Metković, in the north of the town of Čapljina.
In the Neretva valley, the main stronghold in the defense against the Turks was in Počitelj. This fortress was built by King Tvrtko in 1383, and had a strategic role in controlling the road to the sea through the Neretva river valley. Today, the historic town of Počitelj, built under the fortress, has an oriental appearance and as such is fully in the function of tourism and cultural events.
This unique settlement is included in the UNESCO list
