- i am back in my favorite city in the world: paris. i visited paris with my family for the first time ten years ago. since then i've been coming back and every time i'm in awe with the city's beauty, history and culture. i could see myself living here. and so this year, i decided to spend some more time in paris, to see if it’s really i place that i could call home one day. i wasn’t planning on going right now, but an opportunity came up. so now here i am, in paris… alone.

Good for you for having the courage to go off on these adventures. Many people don’t. I love my husband, but I do miss my solo travels. I’ve moved countries 3 times now (hope to add France to the list one day) and you are considering all the right things. Hi from France! I am not sure If you are into local and seasonal organic food locally grown, but in Paris, in all the districts there is a little shop called "Au Bout Du Champ" - they have amazing food - fruits and vegetables, grown with love and I remember my first days when I moved to France I fell in love with how accessible grown organic food is in big cities like Paris. If u want to feel a local vibe I recommend Au Bout Du Champ which I loved when I was living in Paris for 2 months during my internship. Have a lovely time

I so loved watching this! Apparently this came into my feed.. Because I'm a Paris lover myself (and a Dutchie). I went to live there for a month as well, back in 2019 when I was 33 years old. I absolutely, totally, unapolagetically adored it!! I stayed in two different arrondissements in airbnbs. I visited every arrondissement and walked my feet off haha! Jardin du Luxembourg is also my favourite place and Le Marais my favourite arrondissement. But I got to know different other parks and neighbourhoods I really loved. I miss Paris so much and want to go back soon. I'll watch your other vlogs right now. Even though you are much younger, I like watching you with the same passion. It's never too late!

I do feel like time is flying by quickly too. But it is also true that once I am more present the days seem to move a bit slower. I admire you for going after your dream to live in Paris and for visiting the city now to see how it is to actually live there. I was always telling myself that if I could afford it I would move to another European city too, at least for a little while but then again I don't know if I would actually come through with that. Traveling alone is sth that makes me nervous so I truly admire you Iris, we only live once ❤
