Ronnie :--- These Comptia ITF+ course is free of cost Don :---- yes , its free and for those who want to come IT field but no experience, start with these course Thank you guys ❤️ from India
@@stephanietyndall4252 I just found these videos but I do have the CompTIA ITF+ bundle. I'm hoping that between the materials and these videos, I'll be ready to take the test.
I need to take the exam in a month for my current career path, and I am more of a visual learner so I am excited to hopefully gain a better foundation and understanding through these topics with this video series. Thanks team!
Dude you guys are awesome. Thanks so much for these videos. I’ve been using computers for 15 years now but never bothered to learn in depth about what you guys are teaching.
glad I found this I want to get into IT myself and was watching a few of Professor Messer's videos, but got to where my brain was starting to melt lol (perhaps it's becuase some of the terminology he was using I myself did not understand)
Happy to hear that! Free free to reach out if you have any questions about the topics. We recently posted a video with some study tips for certification exams that I'd definitely recommend: ua-cam.com/video/3qecWqxmLes/v-deo.html Good luck!!
Thank u so much don pezet for helping get to my linux+ and zach memos for making a fun and educational experience and by the way i love linux enjoying ubuntu the most.
You're very welcome! A lot of students have been struggling with the programming questions on the exam, so be sure to review both of our videos on that topic and ensure you're very comfortable when the information before sitting the exam. Best of luck to you!
Thank you so much Don and Ronnie! This content is amazing and feels like the first step I should have taken before I signed up for other courses that kind of half-ass the ITFundamentals cert I watched your video on Test prep and that video changed my mind on where I am going to get my preparation information. I am now an ITProTV fan!
Great content! Planning on subscribing once I get through this exam and prove I can handle this much. Got my eyes on Sec+ and really Linux+ in the much more distant future. Thanks, guys.
Thanks for learning with us! Sec+ is a great next step and we have a newly updated course on our website. It also includes practice tests and virtual labs, which are really helpful for learners. Feel free to use the code UA-cam30 for 30% off when you're ready to join! In the meantime, best of luck to you on the ITF+ exam! You've got this!
Hi guys, I’m reading, reading and, putting my knowledge to use as I’m completely new to I.T. Basically I’m also new to your channel and just wanted to say thank you guys so much, as I find your channel to be extremely informative. My favourite thing about your channel is how straight to the point you guys are. Do you have any idea whatsoever of how many UA-camrs love the sound of their own voice? Really is extremely shocking! Keep the awesome work up and thank you for your time and effort which you guys put into your videos believe me, your time hasn’t gone unnoticed. Wishing you all a Merry Christmas. I’m now following Don on Twitter also. THANK YOU🎄 🎅 🙏🏻❤️
Thank you so much for this video. When I did computer science in school I shutdown the wrong computer and we lost everything 😔. Since then I've been avoiding the subject but in today's world its everything. Thank you for making it so easy to understand. This is my husband world and its so great to finally get a foundation knowledge from you guys without the fear of sounding silly if I asked him a question.
Before making any changes to an Operating System to troubleshoot it you must make backups . In a work environment, if you fail to make backups and user data is lost are you liable?
Hi guys, according to the testing it says that there are two sections before this. do you just cover them in a different order? or is this assuming you have the basic basic knowledge?
Sir do we also need to read the theory from somewhere to pass the test? Or should I just try to remember the application part from the video? I don't know what the test will look like.
Excellent explanation about applications of systems talking to each other based on what you have envisioned of things to be, but thats about Science and Technology came from Science, and there are Science varieties as things moves forward, laterals etc. Other than Science there are Dimensions and there are Dimensional Types.
Can this help you study for the Comptia itf certification? I’m completely new to IT yet I am considering a career in IT and I want to start with this certification. I will be following the videos 1-38 it appears, taking notes 📝 and eventually take the examination. As far as specialty, I think based on what I read online on the site I think I would want to go into security.
If you're looking to start a career in IT, then you've come to the right place! Beginning with the CompTIA ITF+ certification is the correct first move. Watching our 38 videos, taking notes, and the practice tests, will prepare you for the exam. If you're looking to join a community of IT Pros and get access to more training content, I highly encourage you to sign up for a free membership at ITProTV: www.itpro.tv/ we'd love to have you as a member! Best of luck to you on your studies.
Hi, guys. I'm to take the exam in a couple of days and have one question for you regarding one of the acronyms. What is Thread Local Storage (TLS)? Please explain it to me in a simple way. Thanks!
First, it is a computer programming method. Second, it is a programming method that uses memory that exists really only for a thread. So you may want use a global variable for a specific thread, but if you do, the call on your thread may cause unintended changes when other threads use the same variable. The use of TLS allows the variable to appear as a global variable but works only for that one thread. So that even if another variable were to use the same variable again, it would work for that one thread too without causing unintended changes. Put differently, to insure that you limit the scope of the consequences of your programming to a single thread. Hope this helps and best of luck to you on the exam!
I can’t believe I just bought this course via Stack Social.. also this course has missed out soooooo much content of the IT fundamentals exam it’s just not funny. Don is great but there’s so much unnecessary waffle going on here. I’ve spent days on this course and then I went to some practice questions. I’d say on average this course has missed about half of what we need to know. God knows what I’m going to do now
Hi there. I apologize you feel that way about the Stack Social course and now ours. I understand your frustration. I'd like to assure you that course covers all necessary material needed to pass the exam, and the practice exam on our website accurately depicts what you will experience on the exam. We actually just had two of our own employees take the exam a few weeks ago and pass, with only having watched our videos. Their feedback was that the practice exam is actually more difficult than actual exam! Either way, we wish the best of luck to you on your studies and on the exam!
This is very beginner friendly. I appreciate that, IT can seem a little intimidating at first but this type of content is perfect for people like me.

I like your computer knowledge presentation, direct, precise, straight to the point, no gossips nor hearsays, no rumors no bullshit. Boom! Yeah!
Watching your videos. Currently studying for ITF+ exam. Taking on a new career change.
Same here! Have you purchased any study guides to use with these videos? I'm curious if I should get some or just take insane notes here.

Hi, are these videos still relevant to the current modules for the exams since its 3 yrs old?
I'm sure it is. The older version would be the U51 and this is the U61.
Are the episodes out of order in the playlist for anyone else?
Thanks for the video, what is the most up to date book to follow along with these concepts.
Don, you are great at this!
We've been saying that for years! Glad you agree.

Thank you!

Great course, really explanatory although it will be nice to have subtitles. Some terminologies used will be foreign to a novice.

Will this series help me if im taking BSIT on college?
Thank you. This is so useful. 👍
thanks For the video, thats day 2 for me in a raw!
Great work you guys. love the videos! thanks for the help :)
Thank you Team 😎

What computer (OS) in the 80's had a gui? Testing maybe but in general use? Just wondering.
Amiga made their name by offering a GUI in 1985/1986. The competition caught up pretty fast from there.

Pretty informative thanks I'm a nerd lol 🤓
Why are these guys in some kind of 90s dungeon
Exactly, and we've kept them locked in there since the 90s to pump out new content. They don't complain much.
