Not only does this Mic sound great the included software just puts it into a whole different league. let me know what you think. You may like this video too. ua-cam.com/video/CBkb5uGSMCo/v-deo.html
This seems like a very sweet solution for a lot of people getting into streaming. The voice changer was perfect. Just leave that on ha! Love the vid and kudos brother!!
So I really think they be pretty even in an untreated room just remember the MV7 is both a usb and xlr mic while the presonus is just usb. On the flip side the MV7 cannot route audio at all nor does it have all the dsp capabilities the presonus has and the presonus just sounds great. I also think you should take a look at this mic in the link. It's pretty impressive. amzn.to/3c1oEPr my associate link.
The best mic I have is p2 connector. I use a little Vention soundboard that just suppresses some excessive levels, but not much more. Sadly, it is a very simple gadget and has no software to it. If I had a noise suppression with more control than standard Windows noise cancelling, that would be great. Also, the tricky thing about default operating system noise cancelling is that if your mic is noisy, then it will only cancel as long as you don't record anything. As soon as you record something, noise gates opens wide and allows all that bottled noise to record along with your voice. When removing noise in post production, it sounds like there's a lot of echo in your audio, as though you were speaking from a glass bottle, but it's the noise fragment. Best if you can have both the mic AND its dedicated audio interface, just like you are showing here. Linux has a ton of nice and free audio interfaces, most notoriously Jack Audio, but, then again, if your mic sucks, that noise coming when noise gates opens during recording will be a persistent headache. Plus, it is absolutely not as neat looking and simple to use as this PreSonus interface. I have "ALMOST" that same quality, but not a lot of post production action going on.
Then the compression and EQ and audio routing. The gate is just one part of the dsp suite. For about 100 bucks you can't beat the wave 1 for what it is but just know it's a condenser mic. Hope your doing well!! Thanks for watching.
Like alot of dynamic mics sold its hard mounted but isn't over sensitive. Everybody has a different setup so you will have to see if it fits your needs.
And you're right, Beacn Mic sucks :). Presonus is cheaper and better. Two good things that Beacn Mic has is Beacn Create and dropping the mic to others for free to give them more PR. PR ≠ quality.

You betcha.👍
Hello, great content, may I ask you between this model and the Shure mv7, what would be better for an untreated room, thanks for your help

Good hardware with good companion software is the optimal combination.

Thanks for the comment!! Yes it's a great all in one solution. I think it sounds great.
How is the shock aborption?
Like alot of dynamic mics sold its hard mounted but isn't over sensitive. Everybody has a different setup so you will have to see if it fits your needs.
@@CoffeeTalkandTechJohnRyan how's it compare to the sm7b with shock resistance
I don't know exactly I didnt have both at the same time.
Noise floor issue?
Unless your a professional I didn't find it to be a problem. Bunch a pro youtubers used a blue yeti for years and what did they know 😆

Thanks for the comment. When beacn gets the software in order it will really help. The pure sound presonus revelator wins hands down.
