“The Company You Keep” CAPE and Gold House Virtual Panel Discussion

In collaboration with CAPE and Gold House, the cast of ABC’s new heist drama series, “The Company You Keep,” including Catherine Haena Kim, James Saito, Freda Foh Shen and executive producer Jon M. Chu gathered for a virtual panel discussion. Moderated by Michelle Sugihara and Jeremy Tran, the panel discussion centered on the importance of Asian American representation in media and how it is reflected in the series.

I love this show so much as a disabled Asian American. I love the characters and Shaylee Mansfield. This is the first time a show has disability and Asian American representation that is catered towards my favorite show genre.

I’m scared it’s going too fast so it’s just gonna be one season. I hope the writers have a good imagination to keep going even though they’re already know about each other’s jobs and it’s only the 5th episode. I want this show to continue, it’s really good…
