I nearly died climbing to the peak 🤣in the dark and rain and fog.hear wifey when wi reach down ,"we have to do this again someday🤨 me: u mussi madd!! Dwl🤣🤣but it was a great experience when u finally reach the peak , u feel like u have achieve a life goal.

little late to the party but as they say better late than never😉 as many have prev said u've one so well in capturing feel of the area fr the cliff side homes on the drive up, the smell of the air to the cheese? berries on the trail! sadly i may never return to this my childhood paradise much less share in person w/ my family but txs to yr video i can now occasionally virtually have the exp. MANY txs again!!
Thank you! YES! 1995 was the time I hiked up that mountain from Mavis Bank. Not a wise trek for two blonde hair, blue eyed strangers but with the blessings of a Rasta man and his son we made it safely to Whitfield Hall. It was dark and Reggie was the only one there. Coffee was on the menu and that was all. Caught the lunar eclipse went to bed in the bunks. Woke up to a misty mountain morning. Bananas and coffee then back down the hill, mountain. The best part and the biggest hold up was the donkey and it’s aimless herd of asshole goats on a trail no wider than my stride. Not to mention the sheer cliff to one side and the reverse on the other. I could go on. Thanks again. ❤❤❤
