Ciao Eszter. I went on and watched this video after today's video on Siracusa. I love to learn about the history of all of Italy. This is one of the areas that I am considering moving to, from Florence, later this year. There is an apartment in Augusta that I have been looking at that has wonderful sea views. I have also been looking at an apartment on the island of Lipari. So, who knows where I will end up! Haha Ok, grazie! Paul in Firenze

I am baptized Greek Orthodox! My parents still speak Arvanitika today. (Arvanitika was colloquial, the language with which one spoke, in the church liturgy was the language Koine Bizantyn.) Later the modern Greek was introduced by the European Philhellenics) who were told the people who spoke Arvanitika, you have to be Helenen the language that God understands is that of the church = Koine Greek) later the new Greek was introduced in schools !, (because so many people from many countries in Asia Minor were relocated to Greece that all had their own language !, but that Same religion and that's it I am from the island of Hydra, in Greece, where only Arvanites live. When it came to the exchange of population (the one who organized the west) between Turkey and the west, in the name of Greece) to create a purely Christian Orthodox Greece, we wanted to bring Orthodox Christians from Asia Minor to our island, but they were all against it because these people, even though they were Orthodox Christians, did not speak the same language. And these people have to go out differently! Dark-skinned, Schwarzharihlge Asians ,. I heard that from many island residents and from my parents.
