8-15 songs from these ingenious maestros is all I need. I have the worst attention and interest span when it comes to 3-4 hour-long concerts with a setlist of 23-30 songs, no disrespect to GNR and Springsteen and the Foos
They’re playing insultingly short setlists tbh. I saw them in PA this past year and it was my second time seeing them and it felt like they were on autopilot a bit and they didn’t even hit 2 hours. I had seen GNR at the same venue a few weeks beforehand and they played for almost 4 hours. It’s a little bit sad for fans to pay all that money and not even get a 90 minute performance here.
Agree. Saw them in Hershey last fall and enjoyed every minute of it…but was longing for more minutes. I understand that they’re not exactly a young band anymore, but I really wish they provided a few more songs than they have in recent years.
@@a5dr3 He's pretty good. I'm sure your better. It's not like John ever is out there saying he's a better guitar player than anyone. It's not a competition.
Man, as much as I enjoy footage of these shows on UA-cam, I get so bummed seeing so many lit up smart phones being held up in the audience. The energy is just killed. No one jumping around, no energy for the band to feed off of anymore, just people recording footage on their phones. It sucks!
So you can't have fun at a concert if other people don't have pre approved fun? 🙄 People spend ridiculous amounts on tickets and merch, if they want a memory of their favorite song it bothers me a little as if they had purple hair. Standing at concerts with thousands of stoned, drunk idiots with lighters and lots of people with long hair wasn't better in the "old days".
@@vlada It was better from the musicians point of view before smartphones.. Which is why bands like Tool along with quite a few others make people keep their phones put away until the last song. Musicians feed off crowd energy. When you have 15,000 people staring through their phone screen, standing still to get the “best footage”, it takes so much away from the human aspect of things. And at least those “thousands of drunk idiots with lighters in the air” were actually in the moment and enjoying it.
This is one of the best versions of "Don't forget me" I've heard, simply beautiful without any unnecessary ornaments. Yeah, John doesn't dance or "vibe" to the music as much as 20 years ago, but I think he's at his best musically.
He never playes it the same he always improvised the solos and that's what makes me a 6 foot 290 pound man cry when that young man gets in that portal to the other dimension and there's nothing more I can say because I dont know how to explain his playing. Its priceless.
I beg to differ on all youse downers’ negative feedback on this badass and well-planned setlist. As a lifelong RHCP fan, I get a tremendous kick from jamming out to every single one of these smashes composed from this masterful four-piece band who’ve been at it together for 40 years now
I really thought they’d throw in something new to the setlist since this was a “make-up” concert for the ppl who wanted to see em in December. Or that they’d do something acoustic to go along with that theme
You’re misconstruing me mate. Funky monks? Blood sugar? Black eyed blonde? If you have to ask? Me and my friends? What is soul? This all their pop hits
@@jakejohal6672 Those are rock/pop songs with funky elements. I think they don't play those because...they're not very good. But pop or not as you say...this was quite a boring set. Imo. It could use some punch.
Id say hes slowly getting better throughout this era. Would be very difficult to go from barely playing guitar for 10 years to having to play arenas and stadiums every other night. Listen to Eddie in this performance and tell me you dont see 07' John not peaking through.
i can finally say i was there
They are so good live, videos never do justice, loud, tight, and always hitting the groove. Must see.

Too short a concert...only 14-15 songs
Too short a show and set list is not on point! Same as the 23 tour
@@dustzza123 I want them to play different songs off the unlimited love and rodc ...Great Apes would be a great start
Entrance music was: Amériques by Pierre Boulez ! dont forget to add that ;-)

love how john forgets to take his guitar in the second entrance :D iconic 🌟🌟
I love how John pretends he can solo by making faces and doing hammer ons and all the fan boys think he’s a guitar god.

É visivel que John gosta mt de tocar "eddie"

Every version of don't forget me is the best version
John was at its best 20 yrs ago.. however..he is sill.top 10 guitar heroes in my opinion

anyone else notice john played the greatest apes solo at 41:04 ?

even if its a few seconds of my lovely man, i woulda lost my shit
I can’t believe these guys are still doing this stuff. All the drugs, alcohol and partying they’ve done plus their age it’s unreal.
Stop badmouthing the four-decade genius of this magnificent group. 8-16 songs are enough for me so just take what these maestros are giving to you
don’t forget me and under the bridge won for me that whole show, was so satisfied with those
Who else played at this concert?
ALEXSUCKS and another band

Great video! I'm concerned about Anthony's vocals though, he doesn't sound good at all. I'm not hating, just stunned.
He sounds good.. your expecting???
Gee.. same songs.. again
Fez o teaser de my lovely man para não fazer uma jam kskskskskksksksk, preguiçosos.
Great to see them still sounding good, but this set is just pop hits. Where’s the funk?
Peppers long been a pop band with funky vibes and you're expecting FUNK? It was never that, 'bro.

Oh those songs aren’t very good. I see.
Less than 90 minutes is not value for the money.
Not very good....
sad to see this washed up John, in 2006-2007 he'd give his life on stage, nowdays feels like he just want to go home :(
im just glad he's on it. and he still shreds imo
20 years ago?
Maybe it’s angle but out of the 7 times I’ve seen them since John is back he seemed the most hyped this day

Good to see the Forum remaining home to big time acts. Even though RHCP act may be getting stale.
Very boring
