    I cant get around why they dont make machines like these anymore. I have emx and I love it. I had a chance to buy esx for 400euros in perfect condition few years back and I refused because of many synths I already had at that time, what a stupid decision. These machines are the best. Looking at todays market I find it all boring. Long live emx/esx

    would you be willing to make a tutorial if it`s paid? The manual is useless and not many good enough videos showing how to use it. Even the motion seq function is not explained well anywhere and judging by the wear due to use on this machine I`m sure you can share some insight that comes only with experience. As long as it`s fine to make a video explaining how you use the ESX I`ll be happy to pay for it.

      Hi Hauselmann.
      THX for comment.
      Yeah it's possible, there is a ''tube gain'' beside the master.
      You can also resample endlessly, like an old tape recorder.

    • @AepoK-
      @AepoK-  3 роки тому +1

      Hi 888berg! Thank you for your comment ! :) there is honestly no good answer ... With the Emx I find that the advantage is that you can really work in "stand alone" because you "design" all your sounds from the machine (it's a synth in which you do not import any sounds, it is with this one that I learned the most! With the esx you have better results much faster because you import samples inside (and at the beginning you rarely produce them yourself ^^) and therefore the sound sounds more `` clean ''. Finally, the two are complementary;) At therme you can use it at noon and sample the emx with your esx for example ^^ (in any case both are safe values ^^)
      Thanks for your viewing!

    Are the sounds produced by the Electribe itself? Or do you need to load them from your PC or something like that?

    • @AepoK-
      @AepoK-  3 роки тому +1

      Hi !
      Thank you for your question;)!!
      Initially the becane is supplied with '' factory '' samples. Personally I sample my "emx" or a synth or acoustic instruments or "buzz" (when I do not know what to put my jack ^^) or a pc (like "kick2 on ableton it makes kick ding ^^) anyway any source (but there are indeed factory samples in it at the base. It's a magneto with a sequencer of effects and modulation.
      For the moment I have small personal challenges like for the few videos that I propose to you I work with a minimum of samples (and not '' long 'samples like line of percussion on the' slice '^^) but anything is possible! ^^

    • @AepoK-
      @AepoK-  2 роки тому +2

      Difficile a dire… ^^ En général on écrit en live , en partant de patterns vide, notre "première passe"; et ensuite on remix environs une dizaine de fois en moyenne… -estimation très approximative. Je dirais que l'édit' s'est fait dans les deux mois de la compo, sur une dizaine d'heures env. (plus le temps de production des samples )
      J'espère pouvoir faire des tutos prochainement (juillet si possible) sur Twitch par exemple ;) Pour montrer que le live ça peut aller vite si tu es organisé, et que ton setup est solide : ) Pour l'instant, je ne propose que du ''standalone'' mais j'espère que la chaîne pourra proposer des sessions en multi machines d'ici quelques mois -.-
      En tout cas, merci pour la question et pour ton visionnage ! ;)

    • @Psynomis
      @Psynomis 2 роки тому

      @@AepoK- c'est lourd !! J'suis heureux et nouveau possesseur d'une esx toute neuve et je vois que pour assurer ton live tu Switch entre plusieurs paterns ? J'compose depuis plusieurs années sur ableton, le hardware c'est tout nouveau pour moi aha !
      En tous cas les tutos c'est une super idée parce que mine de rien en tuto FR il y a pas grand chose ! Excellente idée :)

    • @AepoK-
      @AepoK-  2 роки тому

      @@Psynomis Hello :) Je relis ton commentaire, effectivement je live mes patterns (par groupe). Par exemple, si tu connais un peu les logiciels comme Ableton, tu dois savoir ce qu'est une "scene". Avec les groovebox tu peux articuler tes track de la même manière (plusieurs themes ou breaks par scene, ou par track) Pour ma part je m'organise en groupes à mixer ;) Du coup, pour que ça fonctionne de façon continue, ça peut être intéressant d'avoir toujours des Kicks au même niveau d'une pattern à l'autre par exemple. Pareil pour les side chain. Je suis en train de faire construire mon studio, j'espère pouvoir proposer quelques tuto d'ici au moi de septembre (même peut etre avant) d'ici la n'hesites pas ;)
