Just came across your EMX ESX vids, I’m 71 and I’d have danced to this in my heyday, got a lot of Modular Eurorack but heading back to get these machines if I live long enough to learn😃😃Amazing stuff your Laying down Infinite improvisation’s, really envious of your innovative Style Right on Namaste🙏🇬🇧🇬🇧🌈🌈🌈🌈🦋🎶🎶🎶🎶🔱🕸⚡️🆒
I need to thank you for this masterpiece track, and also cause im tired of electribes being obliterated with shitty gabber tracks every time i found a video of them. god bless you my friend, let me kiss your hands holly master
I cant get around why they dont make machines like these anymore. I have emx and I love it. I had a chance to buy esx for 400euros in perfect condition few years back and I refused because of many synths I already had at that time, what a stupid decision. These machines are the best. Looking at todays market I find it all boring. Long live emx/esx
Same man, I think companies are scamming musicians. Very disappointing stuff in general. Im looking for esx for 400-450 now but I have to decide yet. This video helped me a lot.
Absolutely bloody amazing track - please make more like this - and if you can please make a video showing how you set up the ESX (and EMX for that matter), would love to see how you go about it. Lovely stuff, love your tunes, thanks!
AepoK you're a genius! Damn! Impressive and profound acid vibes you slam on the EXM! Badass, gonna get myself going too but you, brother, you rock it! haha much luv!
MERCI beaucoup pour ce commentaire, qui m'a bien donné le sourire ^^ Je viens enfin de récupérer une carte son et une camera, la suite devrait donc arriver très prochainement :D Much luv too ! ;)
Wow this ist Rock! Really like it. You've really furmgured it out. By having all these fast transitions of sound the track does not get boring. You could easily play in front of big audience 🎉🎉
Very good work man!😊 I struggled a lot with the ESX because I had no computer and when I loaded new sounds with friends computer's I had always problems with the volumes, or with the sound quality in general because we didn't 'eq' the samples before loading.... Respekt man, keep creating
If you still have it, know that there is a standard format for ESX samples (44000Hz 32Bit floating point) and that you can resample them directly with the machine;)Maybe it could help you. THX for your comment;) !!
very cool, learnt a few things watching you work on the ESX. I only ever used EMX, where does that sample live that I hear thrporoughout? It's a "stretch" part right? But I don't see it activate at the start of the loop?
This machine is a sampler the sounds are produced outside the machine and then re-modified in the machine ^^ it is a tape recorder with effects, modulation and filters;) thx for commentary and viewing!; )
Woah newish ESX content? Count me in! I should start sharing some of my stuff but I usually don't realize it's any good until I come across it on an old .esx file 3- 6 months later lol
when you are changing the menu knob are you going into new samples and loading them live into one of the drum parts? Omg I'd love to pick your head to learn how you are doing some of these things -- I just got mine -- have a decent idea/concept of how it works but would love to learn more on the fly stuff like how you are doing -- any advise greatly appreciated! :D

^^ Too much i guess ^^ a few years (but you can have very good results in a few months if you play every day and if you ''RTFM'' ;p ) When I have more time, I will try to do tutorials ;) THx for comment ;)
3:45 the tremolo sound :D big stuff.. anyway the whole thing is very nice, especially after watching two vids about these korg korg machines on sequencertalk channel, by dean freud and moogulator. ciritcs say it soudns weak and thin. i can´t hear anything thin here tbh :D
would you be willing to make a tutorial if it`s paid? The manual is useless and not many good enough videos showing how to use it. Even the motion seq function is not explained well anywhere and judging by the wear due to use on this machine I`m sure you can share some insight that comes only with experience. As long as it`s fine to make a video explaining how you use the ESX I`ll be happy to pay for it.
Nice work on the Pattern switch and overall sound design 👍 This Maschine sounds warmer then most of the recent stuff. is it possible to adjust the amount of audio going into those tubes or is it part of the overall sound? 🤔
Hi Hauselmann. THX for comment. Yeah it's possible, there is a ''tube gain'' beside the master. You can also resample endlessly, like an old tape recorder. That's where the color comes from. ;)
@@AepoK- It does sound like tape! Good to know. i actually own an Analog Rytm and i can't get the Hihats to sound as warm as this Maschine. Your video is gonna make me buy one eventually 👍
I've got the electribe 2 and want the blue emx for psych trance ,the shipping adds a lot of money for 2nd hand ,don't know why korg won't reissue the emx again
Hi 888berg! Thank you for your comment ! :) there is honestly no good answer ... With the Emx I find that the advantage is that you can really work in "stand alone" because you "design" all your sounds from the machine (it's a synth in which you do not import any sounds, it is with this one that I learned the most! With the esx you have better results much faster because you import samples inside (and at the beginning you rarely produce them yourself ^^) and therefore the sound sounds more `` clean ''. Finally, the two are complementary;) At therme you can use it at noon and sample the emx with your esx for example ^^ (in any case both are safe values ^^) Thanks for your viewing!
Hi ! Thank you for your question;)!! Initially the becane is supplied with '' factory '' samples. Personally I sample my "emx" or a synth or acoustic instruments or "buzz" (when I do not know what to put my jack ^^) or a pc (like "kick2 on ableton it makes kick ding ^^) anyway any source (but there are indeed factory samples in it at the base. It's a magneto with a sequencer of effects and modulation. For the moment I have small personal challenges like for the few videos that I propose to you I work with a minimum of samples (and not '' long 'samples like line of percussion on the' slice '^^) but anything is possible! ^^ ;)
Difficile a dire…
