I really hope to see PFG step up with MultiVersus content this year, especially as this year is the 100th Anniversary of Warner Bros.
Season 3 may be over for The Warner Siblings, but I look forward on playing as them once their announcement shows up!

I'm sad, because my most wanted are Static & Scooby-Doo. And I got a feeling that both of them are far out from being released. Especially Static. I know he's been datamined, but I could see him even getting shelved. There's a lot of competition, even among the DC characters.

I wanna say, while I like the idea that Olson was, potentially, recording Marceline lines for MultiVersus, it’s also just as (if not more) possible that she’s recording lines as Vanessa for the two seasons of Phineas and Ferb that are being worked in currently

With Warner Bros celebrating 100 years this year, it’s about time they ramp back up content in MultiVersus. Maybe even do some special anniversary skins!

Sam & Max
Uncle Grandpa seems the most likely as he’s under CN, but I want Scout because he’d really fit the airy combat and overall nature of the game along with his skins being almost limitless with the games cosmetics (though I understand how valve treats Tf2 these days, they are not opposed to crossovers still). Along with that, Sam & Max are having a mini resurgence with their remastered games from skunk ape and with their previous association in Warner Bros. media (poker knight 2) I believe they are at least possible due to what they said about “third party characters” and imagining the witty banter they could have makes me want them more.
Keep in mind this is a team game, so while we might get duo/trio characters, a lot might be on their own so they can be played as a team
Considering the talk of a Cartoon Network platform fighter, CN Punch Time Explosion is sort of a precursor to this game and had a lot of the CN reps either conjoined into one character or separated to varying degrees of success (I.e. Billy & Mandy, Mac and Bloo). Might be a game to consider when discussing MV character speculation

Billy & Mandy and Hi Hi Puffy Ami Yumi are the cartoon network characters I see better represented as two in one
Billy and Mandy more so like Duck Hunt like they are in Punch Time Explosion, and Ami and Yumi as an Ice Climber deal
Maybe Billy and Mandy could be like the scrapped Diddy and Dixie mechanic from brawl where they act like the Ice Climbers but swapping them out changes the moveset like Zelda and Sheik

Glad to hear about the updates on MultiVersus, especially Samurai Jack, I'm looking forward to that and I could see him being added maybe after Marceline and Joker or even between releases if we're lucky, also on a female characters being added, they could add a Steven Universe character in like Spinal or Connie as a couple of examples, heck I'm one that really wants to see the main three Crystal Gems being added as fighters to MultiVersus, we have Garnet, now we need Pearl and Amethyst to complete the trio and Steven, other than that though I just want MultiVersus to last a long time to the point we have a roster of various different reps that could rival that of Smash Ultimate, that would be awesomely wacky and I'm all for it.
Hoping you plan on covering more Nintendo Direct stuff.

I feel is healty for the game to slow down in the new character releases and space them out more. Maybe 3 in a year is a good rate, so they have time to make each one feel special

It is starting to look unlikely Gumball is going to make it in. There has been no talk, files, or even any interest since launch up until Season 2 from the devs to add him in and that is disappointing.
On the “jingle bells Batman smells” thing, I think it’s pretty credible, because like Batman’s Christmas sweater is the Batmobile losing a wheel lmao
I completely agree with what you said about the CN character, I still think it was a misstep to have Steven universe in when Adventure Time was already the 2010s rep and leaving us with no 00s or 90s reps

It would really be awesome if the PPG get in, and a ATHF character, like Master Shake or Carl, back to back. In ATHF, they referenced the PPG under the Powerpuff Mall in certain episodes of the series.

Secondary: Rick Sanchez
Most wanted characters: Mordecai, Master Shake, The Mask, Fred Flintstone, Daffy Duck, Johnny Bravo, and Godzilla
Least wanted characters: Gandalf, Rikochet, Pibby, and Minerva Mink
I actually screamed when Cartman showed up on the scream, he is my most wanted character ever
Samurai Jack would get me back into this game, at least for a while. What I really want is TOM with an Absolution stage, though.
When mentioned Trio Characters it reminded me of Chorus Kids who were robbed in Smash.
I know the pictures aren't meant to be indicative, but holy that made me realize how incredible it would be to get Cartman in the game. Suddenly I have a new most wanted!
I'm very much curious if the Wings of Fire animated series could come out soon enough to get a rep in Multiversus. Since Warner Bros still own the rights for the adaptation.
X-in-one/swap characters are usually more technical, i'd imagine they're harder to grasp for casual players. So there's an argument to split fighters, but a the same time, there's so many CN characters that adding 2 (or more) for each series would take way too long. Either way you see it, the devs definitely have to make compromises

I wouldn't mind some characters being locked behind skins that you buy with gold for example: Blossom being the main PPG but Buttercup or Bubbles being a skin (with unique voice lines) sold for 5000 gold or something

Tony put out a tweet talking about a character swinging with a grappling hook not only that but two perks have been found in the files referring to them as ketchup and grapple could this be teasing a character from kids next door perhaps? Maybe number one is the next character since the two things that he had were a ketchup gun and a grappling hook

I also think since this game has a focus on duos they’ll probably try to eventually do 2 characters from most things they reasonably could do with like Mordecai & Rigby or Mac & Bloo.
Slippery? Maybe we aren’t going to just get Joker. Maybe we’ll get Joker and maybe Mister Freeze. Swinging from grapple hooks? Maybe we’ll also get Robin too. I’m going to take a wild guess and say a get a bunch Batman characters will get revealed in one big trailer.

I don't think J.K Rowling could be a problem for Harry Potters reps since we have Ren and Stimpy and Danny Phantom in Nickelodeon All Star Brawl and John Krickfalusi and Butch Hartman are very controversial
Yeah a lot of people are cool with separating the art from the artist. For instance with the Justin Roiland stuff coming out recently I think people will still like Rick and Morty even if their opinions change about Justin himself now.

12:11 if those are the types of characters they want to add in Multiversus, than this game will be huge, many people want a "Disney Smash Bros" or "Xbox Smash Bros" or "Sega Smash Bros" or "Shonem Jump Smash Bros", and Multiversus could be all at once, that's hype.
It’s ambitious and we’ll see who they end up going after but they’re definitely considering unexpected outside-the-box characters for this game
Has there been any news about courage?
I think what worries me the most is budget. We have a lot of potential things to look forward and be hopeful for, but just like some other games I’ve played, some stuff can get shelved easily due to lack of game audience and funds. Im quite worried WB may reduced how much resources the Multiversus team can use. If I’m wrong or something about this concern, do feel free to correct me
My most wanted are Samurai Jack, Mordecai, and Martian Manhunter. At least Jack is guaranteed

Sometimes I wonder if MultiVersus would have been better off if the roster was more focused on Cartoon Network. Not only would we get more Cartoon Network original characters, but I also think they could keep the DC, Hanna Barera and Looney Tunes character since all of those were major parts of the channel. It would probably mean the live action characters like those from Game of Thrones would be cut, never seen the show, so it wouldn't bother me that much. Not sure if Adult Swim counts as Cartoon Network, so I don't know If Rick and Morty would be cut. Same thing with Toonami, but if it not, then probably no anime characters which would be a real shame. What everyone else think, is the MultiVersus roster better with a more open net, or should it have been a Cartoon Network platform fighter?
I would've loved if the game started off with more Cartoon Network reps tbh. As much as that pisses people off. Usually, people keep saying, "tHiS IsN't a CartOOn NeTwoRk PlaTfoRm fiGhTer". People just need to realize that's what most people want, lol. I like the Gremlins movie, but let's be honest, those characters should've been saved for a later date. One of the biggest issues is the roster choices. It seems like the devs are mostly just putting characters that they want in the game instead of listening to players.
I’ve thought the same thing, having a pool this big divides the fanbase a bit with which characters people are hopeful to see get added, and if characters aren’t releasing quickly than your chances of getting who you want anytime soon are very slim. In a CN only fighting game your chance of the character you want being next might be like 1 in 100 but in a WB fighting game it’s more like 1 in 1000 cause there’s so many more options they could go with. And I think people lose interest or aren’t as invested when the chances for what they’re interested in are slim. Some people want looney toons, some want CN, some want DC characters, or maybe someone’s waiting on a specific game of thrones character or Steven universe character etc… it’s too big of a pool unless you’re interested in every franchise the game has. And unless characters are releasing very quickly it’s tough to get a lot of people to stay interested if many only like one or two specific series/franchises and not EVERYTHING WB has.
@PapaGenos I've seen some people on Twitter say that they wish we could get a sequel to Cartoon Network Punch Time Explosion. This game is the closest thing we'll ever get to that because I doubt we'll ever see a standalone Cartoon Network video game ever again. I even saw someone tweet that they want a remake of Cartoon Network Racing. We'll probably just end up getting a Multiversus Kart before we ever get a remake or sequel to Cartoon Network Racing.
@@PapaGenos Huh, I've never thought about it (maybe I'm just being a nick person). Tbh, I do love Multiversus but I feel like they should keep adding CN reps like 1-3 at a time and than wait until next 1 or 2 season. So that way it won't focus on DC & WB Live Action Films.

Same here dude, Shazam could work in MultiVersus, being basically a tank with being able to grant a "Shazam" buff to allies where they receive shock, speed, defence, power buff, that's how I can picture him, maybe not the overkill Uber Buff for Shazam that he grants, but none the less, power and shock is definitely on the table for him.
