Episode 533: My conscience The voice of the soul Part 1

Hello everyone. In tonight's Bible study we continue looking at the soul.
Last time we looked at the soul of God which comes from the Man Christ. This happens to be the likeness given to mankind in Genesis 1:26.
How do I know that? Well, over in Philippians 2:5-10 the Lord describes if for us. By the way, I don't guess. Everything that I teach comes from the scriptures without my opinions.
Mankind's soul is like the Lord Jesus's in that it is the mechanism that God has chosen through to communicate His thoughts and control His body.
Our souls have a voice which the scriptures calls our conscience. When we talk to ourselves, this is the part of us with whom we are speaking. I cannot begin to tell you how many times I have said to myself "come on Kevin!" or "what are you doing?" or "why did you do that?"
I find it amusing that we humans are allowed to do that while we hold God to a higher standard by declaring He cannot when He says to Himself, "Let Us".
Are you wondering to whom is God saying "Let Us?"
Well, let me ask you a question. To whom are you speaking when you talk to yourself?

Eccl. 3:18-21
I said in my heart, “Concerning the condition of the sons of men, God tests them, that they may see that they themselves are like animals.” For what happens to the sons of men also happens to animals; one thing befalls them: as one dies, so dies the other. Surely, they all have one breath (a type of spirit); man has no advantage over animals, for all is vanity. All go to one place: all are from the dust, and all return to dust. Who knows the spirit of the sons of men, which goes upward, and THE SPIRIT OF THE ANIMAL, which goes down to the earth?
