Im just getting started in music production and this helped me a lot understanding how things work in organic house. Thank you really much for doing this
Great tutorial my guy! I am so glad I found this. I have been struggling with my percussion and this helped a lot!! Would love to see some content on ethnic organic house (Hraach/ Laroz/ Sahale)!!!
Hey Dowden, its me again! Passing to say i would love to see more videos in this format. Just beautiful stuff. Keep up the great work and thanks again. Hugs from Brazil! 💚
Excellent video - great tips (I particularly liked the add a VST, record the audio as you cycle through presets). Great explanation as well. Subscribed.
Great vid! Vocoder on perc is one of my fave techniques. Question tho: do you keep your hats, snares and claps on grid? I like to move mine off a bit for some groove.
The project files are only available in Ableton Live, but you can watch the video and follow along with most of the information and just relate it to Logic! I also teach lessons, so if you are ever interested you can check that out here: dowdenmusic.com/music-production-coaching/
I'm learning so much from this tutorial! Thank you. Im struggling to create the melodic loop using the simple piano. I still can't get a less harsh, more hollow piano key sound (trying to be as descriptive as my musical knowledge allows). At minute 24.
There are only a few samples that I've included in the download. I can't supply the samples of sounds I didn't create. Hope that clears it up! I'd suggest using your own samples to learn! :)
Can you study organic electronic music from Latin America? like Nicola Cruz, Rodrigo Gallardo, El Buho, Barrio Lindo and many others. There is nothing on the web about it.
@@DowdenProductionAcademy you should try to expand a bit your repertoire, these guys especially the first 3 are massive producers, less mainstream than ADID and all that overly popular commercial so-called dreamy/ethnic music... hopefully later on your otherwise great channel.

yes man, these ADID wanna be tutorials are getting a bit old... hopefully soon smth a bit more edgy and undeground in the scene
Did you check out the rest of the videos? There are much more 'edgy' tutorials. ;)
You had me at Volen Sentir !! sick Russian producers - their use of overlay dreamy vocals... yum
You’re sick
@@darixmusic why is he sick? Because he said the R word?
Serum seems to be very popular on tutorials everywhere, I think I'll get one and make some presets to myself.
Yep! It is a great tool. :)
Love the hihat trick! Very cool to use a vocoder to smear the hats out like that
Thanks!
Yesss another Organic house tutorial! Keep them coming!
Will do ;)
Bro, you're amazing 👏
really amazing bro

very interested in taking some lessons.
That's great to hear! You can book lessons here: dowdenmusic.com/music-production-coaching/
You make writing music fun! Got inspired... might remix something later. Never knew that using the drum rack, you could assign notes to it...
Thank you so much! Really glad I'm motivating you :)
good leason mate!
Thanks!
Very useful and precise, looking forward to more! 👌🏻
Thanks very much!
You could accept my friend request on FB, so i can send you some of my works for the feedback, it’d mean to me.
@@nikolamihailovic9580 You can send it to dowden@dowdenmusic.com :)
Great vid! Vocoder on perc is one of my fave techniques. Question tho: do you keep your hats, snares and claps on grid? I like to move mine off a bit for some groove.
I keep some on and some off :) Depends on swingy the track already sounds and how each sounds off the grid. I usually do, though! :)
Thank you so much!
Thanks for this bro! Did you end up finish this song at all? If so, where can we listen to it?
I did not finish this track! I only used it for the video. But you can hear my music on Soundcloud :) www.soundcloud.com/dowdenmusic
Hi maestro!!! Can you make a tutorial like Noiyse Project ? thanks for all your videos
You are welcome! I can consider that :)
love thiiis, how can i do it on logic pro?
The project files are only available in Ableton Live, but you can watch the video and follow along with most of the information and just relate it to Logic!
I also teach lessons, so if you are ever interested you can check that out here: dowdenmusic.com/music-production-coaching/
Fucking hell, nice tutorial. Thank you.
Thank you :)
Glad you enjoyed!
Hello mate god job! how do I download this project?
The link is in the description :)
I would call this elevator house music.Tranquil and unremarkable ear-jelly.
EW EAR JELLY :P That sounds nasteh
What`s the name of this kind of sound in 31:40? (The brown layer "tinySmall Loop"). Is this a pad maybe?
great vid - how do you apply separate eq's to each kick in the drum rack chain ?
Just by dropping an EQ on each specific chain!
I'm learning so much from this tutorial! Thank you. Im struggling to create the melodic loop using the simple piano. I still can't get a less harsh, more hollow piano key sound (trying to be as descriptive as my musical knowledge allows). At minute 24.
Glad you are learning! Try cutting off a bit of high end in the EQ and adding a bit less dry and more wet reverb. :)
Amazing
I really like the sound, great job ! Just letting you know, the samples don`t show up in the Project file :(
There are only a few samples that I've included in the download. I can't supply the samples of sounds I didn't create. Hope that clears it up! I'd suggest using your own samples to learn! :)
Good job mate! Very useful tips. Like, and subscribe. :)
Cheers!
Can I purchase this track?
The track was never finished by me, but you can grab the project files for the track here: bit.ly/3frzlL5 :)
Where percussions audio samples like those can be found to download?
Ableton has some great stock ones. But I would suggest checking out some middle eastern style packs on Splice or Loopcloud :)
Can you study organic electronic music from Latin America? like Nicola Cruz, Rodrigo Gallardo, El Buho, Barrio Lindo and many others. There is nothing on the web about it.
I'm not familiar with any of those names, unfortunately!
@@DowdenProductionAcademy you should try to expand a bit your repertoire, these guys especially the first 3 are massive producers, less mainstream than ADID and all that overly popular commercial so-called dreamy/ethnic music... hopefully later on your otherwise great channel.
Where is that Massive Synth Harp preset from?
Massive Factory Presets 2 I believe!
man how do i get that lead sound, i dont have machine and the sounds
You'll have to use Samplers or Samples with similar sounds. :) Ableton should have some, just gotta search for them!
the sounds are the main thing here so.. idk man this does not sound like help anyways
@@BlankPosterMusic It's a preset. You can find similar ones for sure! The project download comes with the audio as well bounced out. :)
hello ! what vocoder he used?
This is the stock vocoder in Ableton 10.
Who would you like me to cover next? Comment below!
Can you cover Kamilo Sanclemente or Budakid style?
@@ronycalderon9609 I can consider those :)
@@DowdenProductionAcademy Awesome Brenden!! Thanks :D
Hello dowden , please make a more tutorial music artists like gorje hewek , amonito. Need more organic tutorials.
🙏🏼🙏🏼
@@TheTranspoter3 I have a list of my next videos on my patreon. www.patreon.com/dowdenmusic
Will definitely be doing more Organic tutorials, soon :)
Elevator music
Great tutorial, what BPM is this?
121BPM! Sorry for cutting that off - was not intentional haha.
Lol is playing the same note over and over a good "bassline" to you?
I'd suggest over 50% of basslines in this genre are one note. Usually staccato. ;)
