Hi Saira, as per you said for the Forest city, if we buy a house in Forest City, is it compulsory to live there? Are we allowed to put this property on rent? And then instead of us living in Forest City can we live in Kuala Lumpur? If we can live in Kuala Lumpur can we put our kids in a school there based off the visa we get from Forest city? I spent this summer for a few months in KL it is nice to stay for a holiday. We rented a large apartment in a nice location near the city centre. Homes are not as large and comfortable as have in North America 1500 SQF in KL vs. 5400 SQF here but the weather is warm and people are nice. Malay food is mostly fried unhealthy spicy dishes and Chinese food is okay. The cost for a very low-quality basic English medium school for primary and secondary is as much as you will spend for a college kid in North America. Very expensive but poor quality education but better than nothing. You are not allowed to work under second-home stupidity rules. They want you to eat "Nasi Lamak" and buy fake items then go home. You can't be a PR there and forget being a citizen. You can't put your roots for your young children. The main reason you might want to live West is to give your children an Islamic country but no you can't, they will be visitors forever here. Your kids will be stateless. They will like here but they will not be allowed to stay here. Look somewhere else that will accept you and make you one of them over time. Not Malaysia. Racist Malays is for BumiPutra only. Chinese have lived there for generations but they are second class. Indians are 3rd class citizens. They all try to leave for other countries once they get a chance. Good place for holiday or a second home for summer as they say but it would never be your first home. You will lose both eventually. Not worth.
Some advice: don't talk through it when you doing an interview. Divide your videos into chapters and improve your sound system. This way you retain more of your viewers.
Could you elaborate on the online schooling you mentioned at the end, is that paid schooling or free? As in the school is based in the UK but online only, is that government funded or paid? If paid how much are we talking?
What about opening a franchise as an expat? Since franchise, like a McDonalds, will have to serve burgers in the country, right? What are the laws or rules?
