That’s why they were so excited about finding that fresh water lake under the ice sheet down there. Russians drilled a hole down to it. Was very controversial. Not knowing what they could unleash that’s been isolated for 70 something million years. Virus, bacteria, bugs. Could be anything. I can’t remember the outcome but super interesting. People forget that there has been many times that the earth has been ice free. Warming and cooling all by itself. We’re still warming from the last ice age

There was a civilization there 10,000 years ago, around the time of the last "Ice Age". It was at this time that there was a great global shift in the continental plates. This caused North America to move south, perhaps more than a 1,000 miles. while the other side of the world moved north. This was the supposed ice age in North America. As the glaciers melted they left what we see today. This also moved the habitable parts of Antarctica further south, thus making the entirety of Antarctica uninhabitable. This is why there are parts of Antarctica where the ice, say in the Larsen Ice shelf, is only ten thousand years old, in contrast the rest of the continent where the ice pack is much, much older (1.4 million years older).
In addition to this, there is much more evidence of this shift. There were mammoths that were found in Siberia (remember they moved north while the other side of the planet moved south) with buttercups still in their stomachs which would have been fully digested if the animal hadn't been flash frozen due to a massive shift in climate. This was also the time of the great flood, which is something that certainly would have occurred during this shift that was posited by Dr. Charles Hapgood. Follow the evidence. Note: The white cliffs of dover also occur in France so the 'great flood" may have also wiped out the land mass that once connected France and England....10,000 years.

The reason why Antartica was not 'always' covered in ice, but frozen over, could be due to a Polar Rotation. I think that North was actually N.N.W. ...when other inhabitants were here. If N was at this angle, then the South Pole would be at a different location. So Antartica would be based at a warmer longitude

My uncle was there in 1946 and died there. He was in the navy. It was operation deep freeze. He has a mountain named after him. Millers Peak. Why were they there??
Lockheed P2V-2N Neptune "Boopsie" of VX-6 was damaged beyond repair in a crash-landing in bad weather at the beginning of Operation Deep Freeze II.
The aircraft departed Christchurch, New Zealand to McMurdo, Antarctica along with other the other long range aircraft of VX-6. After passing the PSR (point of safe return) a severe storm enveloped the McMurdo area. Since they had insufficient fuel to return to Christchurch they were committed to flying into the storm and landing at McMurdo.
Neptune 122465 was the first aircraft to reach McMurdo and the pilot made a ground controlled approach from 12,000 feet to 300 feet and then elected to make a visual landing. With the landing gear down the plane began to turn right. The nose of the plane fell, and the Neptune struck the snow on the nose and right wing. The Neptune was completely demolished.

2:00 didnt they make a movie about this? I forgot the name of it.
It was an isolation chamber for NASA to prepare astronauts for the unsettling possibility of being trapped alone in space.
It was intended for training to simulate actual panic knowing that rescue wasnt outside.
In the movie, there was a weather miscalculation prolonging their isolation. The crew went stir crazy and killed eachother and was covered up.
Or, theres also a possibility that aliens left some equipment lying around. Not impossible, but hard to believe.
Its a very crude looking design for alien space craft.
I cant think of anything that would need to be rectangular prism shaped to move effectively through space and then carelessly left behind

(FYI) . . . #10 Picture looks just like the picture from the movie called " The Thing " The guy wearing the cowboy hat gives it away. The movie " The Thing " came out in June 1982. Staring Kurt Russell who wore the cowboy hat in that movie. 🤠👍
