I don't know why everyone thinks Kanye is some musical genius. His production style is nothing complicated and he doesn't have a distinctive sound. Alchemist all day over Kanye, and you can also throw Havoc in there too. His production style on Shook Ones is crazy, and he was only 19 when he produced that joint.
@bobby4f I've listened to Ye for years, I'm not gonna lie. He does have some cool songs, but I think he's highly overrated. People act like he reinvented the way beats are made. I can name several producers that are better than Kanye, but they don't get the recognition they deserve because music has been watered down heavily over the past several years. Basically, Kanye stole his production style from the Rza of the Wu Tang Clan. Do some research
