He was more vital to Liverpool and their style, he had more assists, more tackles, more passes, better pass percentage. But no one had him in their team of the year, wasn’t even nominated by FIFA or Ballon d’Or for one of the best players in the world but Modric won both awards. The system of rating players is poor, we rate them higher when their team does better. That’s rating the team not the player.

Your research looks and sounds like something Sky Sports would manufacture for cheap headlines, and exactly what we as Spurs fans now expect from them. You definitely missed Robert lewandowski. In 2017 and 2018 he scored 85 goals in 92 games averaging a goal every 89 minutes of playing time. Messi scored 93 in 104 and Ronaldo 81 in 91 averaging a goal every 94 and 97 minutes respectively. Despite the figures being in lewandowski favour he didn't even make the 30 man short list for ballon d'or this year which is a bit ridiculous.

Mario mandzukic has always been a very good player for me he isn’t as much of a goalscoring machine, but if his team needs a goal he will show up, he is a good one on this list

Good luck to Barca trying to sign Firmino. One of the clauses in the Coutinho deal was a 100M Euro premium if they try to sign any of Liverpool's players until 2020. Seriously, I want them to try and sign one of our players before then. It will make Coutinho the most expensive transfer ever by about 80 million Euros. What you have to understand is that Tottenham Hotspur is a football club and also a functioning business, it is not a charity and must in some way at the end of the year balance its books. The players that your video mentioned both signed contracts to be at the club, they were not forced to sign these contracts. They signed them willingly because at the time of signing these were the best deals that they could get, during this time because of the platform that they were given to display their talents they have shone. Explain to me where the fact that your research has found them to be underrated by their club comes from.
Your research looks and sounds like something Sky Sports would manufacture for cheap headlines, and exactly what we as Spurs fans now expect from them. Sport is supposed to be about talent everyone starting and playing on a level playing field, not about which team can sustain a bank balance being in or close to the red.
To me as a Tottenham fan winning will be sweet and feel deserved if and when it eventually occurs.

You definitely missed Robert lewandowski. In 2017 and 2018 he scored 85 goals in 92 games averaging a goal every 89 minutes of playing time. Messi scored 93 in 104 and Ronaldo 81 in 91 averaging a goal every 94 and 97 minutes respectively. Despite the figures being in lewandowski favour he didn't even make the 30 man short list for ballon d'or this year which is a bit ridiculous.

But what did Messi and Ronaldo keep winning it for if it wasn't for being such a crucial player for their team which lewandowski definitely is for bayern. I'm not saying he should have won it but not even being in the top 30 is odd to me when he contributes so much for his team. Also, I'm of the opinion that if. Modric won it this year, Wesley schneider should have won it in 2010 when inter Milan won the treble. He was arguably more crucial for inter than modric for real and he was art of a treble winning side, but Messi got it instead because he scored allot of goals. Rakitic and Busquets are definitely not underrated by any stretch. One is a hero in his homeland, the other considered the best player ever in his position by some. Barca and Real players in general are rarely underrated, except by their own high maintenance fans.
