Vintage Drag Racing at its Finest

Here is a collection of the highlight moments from the Finest Vintage Drag Racing event around called the Out-A-Sight Drags. This event was held on June 23rd and 24th at Great Lakes Dragaway in Union Grove, Wisconsin and hosted by the Brew City Gassers group out of Milwaukee area.
Vintage Gasser Cars came from all over the country to compete in this event and put on a show doing long smokey burnouts, wheelies and fast passes down the 1/4 mile Drag Strip. Also in this video besides the Gasser Cars you will see Altered Wheelbased Cars, Front Engine Dragsters, and wheelie Cars.
It is amazing looking at all these cars which are unique in there own way and most have a historical story to them and the drivers that are keeping them up in current times to show case what Drag Racing was like back in the 60's and 70's.

Isn't it weird to find out that is a Chrysler car? If I didn't know better I would assume it is an old Ford coupe or something. Very different for sure.

Thanks Phil, yes I was there both days. I camped over night in the pits with the racers. Great experience, and I've been doing that the last 3 years at this event.

For sure. The cars at this event try there best to stay period correct so they are limited to appearing like they are racing from yester year, so that reduces the amount of modern technology they can add to the car.

There was one today called Glory Days down in Byron Illinois. I was down there shooting videos today. Next one is at RockFalls Raceway in Eau Claire, WI Sept 15th and 16th.
