What was the criteria for this? I know most are highest seed beat, others are biggest title won, but there are some (Pegula's match being the USO SF) that seem to be neither. Not a criticism, just genuinely curious.
I'm assuming this is not based on how high the defeated player was, but more which level the match was at? I mean, Frech defeated higher ranked players than Gadecki 😂 but this was a 500 final

it's cause she won the title so it means it was a big win fo4 her cause she won the title caus3 of that win
Putintseva just beat iga at Wimbledon and vondrousova just won Wimbledon in 2023, are we not counting grand slam finals won?
