    Thank you sir; to all who view this video, please follow the instructions carefully to get maximum results. Your hand strike should sync with your front foot landing.

    Resistance bands helps with speed and power.. punching with weights are only distorting technique and bad for the shoulders...

      Heavy weight, 2 pounds won’t hurt, unless your body is weak

    İts a good exercise but it is more about punch endurance

    • @dfpguitar
      @dfpguitar 5 років тому +1

      Not really, because drilling simple punches hundreds and thousands of times will improve precision and speed of the strike. Precision & speed will make a punch powerful. There is an endurance aspect to this, but the fatigue will be coming more from the jumping backwards and forwards than the punching. Learning to punch sharply despite this fatigue will again aid in effective power of punches.

      This is ignorance dressed in weasel words. Nothing you have said actually makes any sense and I don't think you've ever boxed a day in your life. Punching thousands of time doesn't improve precision or speed and fatigue is not just from footwork. Learning to punch "sharply" doesn't mean anything, good punching in boxing comes from three things, speed, strength, and technique, not "sharpness". Also to note, he is not a pro boxer, Olympic style boxing these days is more about punches connected not power or ring control or aggression like with professional boxing, so even a feather fisted fighter can win if he simply touches his opponent more with the right part of the glove. Basically using weights while shadow boxing only helps with improving the boxer's ability to deal with the lactic acid build up in the arms so during a match they can keep punching constantly for 4 rounds straight, not to "aid in effective power".
