I've done what every other youtube reviewer has suggested with these budget chinese made units, which is to try not to use the keystone and position the projector perfectly centered on your wall/screen. This resolves that focus issue, but I realize, this isn't always possible. I've had the Vankyo V600 for almost a week now and I am loving it.
Focus issue as said before is due to the install location. Due to no horizontal keystone you need to place this projector 100% in the middle of the screen both horizontally and vertically then you will get close to perfect focus a cross the screen.. Not always possible or practical for most people...
Man I bought one and had to exchange it for another and ended up returning it altogether. Black spots appeared on the projector after about an hour or two of viewing. Picture quality was pretty good tho
Vankyo sells more newer models in USA and old outdated garbage models in Canada. Example V700 or V630W or VF630T or VF620T (Newer models) are sold only in USA and not in Canada. What a partiality service that is Vankyo ???? By this Canadian customers are forced to only buy outdated models. I didnot buy V630 for its very high fan noise. Many had complaints with V630 for its fan noise.
Bought one in hopes of using it as a bedroom projector. Didn’t happen. Quality is pretty bad so using it for kids room. Would NEVER use this for my own usage. Awful color accuracy, poor brightness, out-of-focus borders. A cheap TV is a lot easier to stomach than these cheap Chinese projectors. Lots of refurbished units that are around the same price that are in a completely different category than this pile of garbage. In any case, thanks for the review. I’ve watched your other reviews to help determine which projector to buy for my new home theater.

4:16 How is the chipset affecting the focus of the image edges?! Is it some sort of digital effect you can’t disable?
I imagine he meant optics, not chipset.

Didn't know chef ramsay is doing youtube voice over now....
hello is there a digital zoom, a reduction of the image or increase
I still didn't find my best $200 Full HD projector.
Can connect sound via hdmi
no ARC if thats what you mean?
@@allthingstech witch be the best way to connect this to a soundbar then.
Well, most sound bars have HDMI passthrough for video.
Every the ad says it is!
So, does the fan noise decrease when using an external sound system?
The fan noise doesn't change, but if you have a nice external sound system you can't hear the fan except in very quiet/silent scenes.
Does this projector have a built-in android system?
