I agree with 90% of the video. I think an AI engineer will require a decent understanding of deep learning architectures. Without understanding concepts like tokenization, embedding etc. keeping up with the latest trends and techniques will be very difficult. In my opinion, the future AI stack will have people with a good understanding of AI with some knowledge of software development (API development, cloud etc.).

This video got me thinking. I switched from Data Science to AI Engineering a while ago, and it's made a big difference for me:
1. Less Competition: In Data Science, there are lots of people competing for jobs, which can be tough. But in AI Engineering, there's not as much competition because it involves more coding, which non-tech people usually avoid. So, it's easier to stand out.
2. More Math: Data Science uses math, but AI Engineering goes deeper into cool stuff like how neural networks and computer vision work. I enjoy that. Understanding these things helps me solve problems better.
3. Staying Updated: Data Science can feel a bit slow sometimes. It's not always quick to pick up on the newest research. But in AI Engineering, you have to keep learning and applying new ideas from research papers. It's exciting because you're always learning something new.

Giving the roadmap will be a very specific requirement which cannot be solved by a general course so i guess we will need a specific roadmap for that. Otherwise taking a general roadmap and then fine tuning the things that we want to learn will be an inefficient task.
