NOT REALLY SMART OF US! Way too busy in ISTANBUL during the holidays

We leave Greece and cross the border into Bulgaria to visit a friend who is building a new camper stop. It is in a strategic location just before the border with Turkey. Here you will find the exact location if you want to go there: maps.app.goo.g...
Then quickly to Turkey and it is noticeable that it is already quite busy in Edirne, but that cannot be compared to Istanbul.
It is very busy and that is because there are a few national holidays, everyone is free and has decided to go to Istanbul. After a few days we saw it and started looking for a location where it should be a lot quieter.
On the way we want to visit a company that sells caravan accessories, but unfortunately the company appears to be closed due to the holidays.
We find a nice spot on a lake and something happens that almost never happens: we are not allowed to spend the night here. That's no problem, we find a state forestry site, the campsite is full but you can park in the parking lot and that's fine too.

ISTANBUL moet je zin aan hebben, er zijn landen die vind je mooi of je vind ze niet mooi. Die keuze kan en mag iedereen zelf maken. Jullie hebben het nodige er van laten zien met de nodige info. Wat kun je nog meer doen.
