One of the most important yet underated bands of the UK in recent times.
Cause nobody can understand the lyrics
@@variszarins true
Five years have passed and, once more, I have returned to this sacred place.
Song after song, album after album Clinic have proven themselves as one of the best groups with a most prolific and flawless string of perfect songs in recent times. Blackburn can toss of a quickie three minute masterpiece with so much going on in it then just on to the next . He has amassed one of the most impressive song catalogs that well rivals Thom Yorke or Charles Thompson. Just imagine these songs with strings, or extended solos or long choruses......sheer brilliance.
Which holiday destination is this?
14 years later and still fuckin gold. Brilliant band right here
I have only see them once and I was blown away. Come back to Chicago!
Just discovered this band. Very ironical it should happen in the midst of the Covid crisis...
If you say so, im not scientist i dont know much about vaccines and science
El loco, cash till?
Id love to see them again...
Love this band, absolute class, man
I Love Clinic ! Very Groovy and Creative Band !
Lyrics?
Anybody know where to get hold of the lyrics? I've looked all over the web for them but cannot find them.
Fantastic song, this one.
Really like this. The 7" gets a good dancefloor every time.
17 años OMG, still sound so good!!
Goodmoring and happy new year 2022
Going to see them tomorrow night in Glasgow.
Happy days
They're great live...
brilliant song brilliant video brilliant band just wish i had the lyrics!
Damn it! Someone made me a copy of a clinic cd a looooooooong time ago and I didn't listen to it! I still had it and listened to it and now I have to get every album because they're freaking amazing. FML for not listening to it sooner.
phenomenal band live and on cd--great song
thanks again for your music
This is excellent music.
Thats enough for me 😂
love the guitar that sounds like Stacey Sutherland.. i get you guys, good luck. i am booked on the train to the festival in Liverpool!..
Yes! Stacey Sutherland all around
Now the whitehouse is complicated, cult care to share information? Wasnt me
Love Clinic. Their sound so solid!
This band is haunted!Clinic has always been one of the best.
Thank goodness this band is still at it. Fuck yes! They are terribly underrated/undermentioned. They're not afraid to be artsy and truly have a unique sound--while there influences are clear, one always knows a Clinic song when they hear it. Thank goodness. B\
This was in Hallam Foe!!! Great song!!!! I think I'm gonna get more into Clinic
2024 y aquí estoy con esta canción fabulosa !
LOVE!
¡Buenísima!
@walkingthevalley I just came from a Black Angels show and the feeling TO ME is completely different. Both bands are the great, just different.
at the ally pally the other week ace man great gig, i thought clinic were the stars of the show
Absolute CLASSIC !! Amazing video too . Sounds f*ckin unreal played LOUD on headphones : )
I was just saying the same thing about the band, regarding Music Television. Walking With Thee is up on UA-cam now. I miss the creativity that went into music videos.
Love love love!
I like Black Angels and have noticed some similarities too, but Clinic are way more original.
fucking awesome song, awesome band!
always good !!!!
This track appeared on MTV 2's '120 Minutes' on Sunday 4th February 2007. Check out our playlists for full programme runnings :)
Nice.
Man, i really love CLINICS videos... Creepy, cryptic... They are awe inspiring and a visual treat. Second only to NORTH KOREAN PROPAGANDA films... But Thanks.
I was just pointing out other great artists from another country. He said "I think that the best music comes from Great Britain....and that is a fact!" I just named a bunch of other artists that most people like and respect. In my opinion the best band out right now is the Arcade Fire. They're Canadian. I agree with you, but I never said the list of my artists were the best from the best country. It sounded like he said that so I wrote what I wrote.
nice creepy feel to this song...liking much
very nice!
What a great video - more than Magritte: M. meets Buñuel ^^
Visually stunning...kinda "Un Chien Andalou" meets "The Residents"
🤯
Okay am checking this out because they are playing at the Black Cat in DC and was wondering if they were worth the long drive. What does anyone think?
man I really love all 24 pixels of this video
Are these guys touring any time soon, wish I could go see them. Being in Australia makes it kind of difficult :/
Anyway I don't know if this means the uk holds all the aces with music I just reckon THIS BAND holds all the aces personally.
JE VOUS AIME!!!
ALTERA HISTORIA DU ROCK
Playlist 11
David lynch and Rene Magrite
Agreed.
sounds quite a bit like earlier radiohead stuff. Cool song.
Thom Yorke is a fan, maybe some cross pollination going on (yay replying on ancient comments)
Who directed this video?
Siousxie And The Banshees + Radiohead =
It drives me crazy not knowing the lyrics. They are nowhere to be found on the web or the bands own website or even word-of-mouth.
@JonDeth should it really? i'll fire off a group email to can and neu! and sonic youth and godspeed etc. and tell them they've been doing it wrong.
but you're right, this could never come close to the sheer brilliance of aimless shred guitar exercises pasted over WACKY SCREENSAVERS. keep on rockin' in the free world dude.
What about White Stripes and Raconteurs, Postal Service and Deathcab For Cutie, The Shins, Bright Eyes, The Strokes, Modest Mouse, The Flaming Lips, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Rage Against The Machines, Queens of the Stonage. And that's just American, there's plenty of other awesome bands from other countries. The list is also without hip hop and reggae groups.
this is sooo David Lynch :D
@JonDeth I just found this and like it. I spose you're now going to try to persuade me that what I like isn't good and that I actually shouldn't like it? Get a life pal each to their own. I imagine you don't like jimi hendrix or radiohead either as both often waver away from the (I think) often boring idea of poppy, simple, 4/4 verse-chorus-and-repeat music with excessive and often plain sad technical guitar skill over the top that makes people like you think its new age rock n roll or something
Drugs kicking in. Must vibrate higher.
Video may be in part influenced by Queen - I'm Going Slightly Mad. ua-cam.com/video/Od6hY_50Dh0/v-deo.html - similar topic, similar eery atmosphere, and a few similar episodes.
sounds like the voice of Brian Molko
@9solipsist
interpol is from nyc lolz
vox annoy me too though
cool! ... and they know who the 13th Floor Elevators are...
Why is playing 80's goth music in plain clothes so hip nowadays? O_o
Sounds like The Residents if they had babies with.. uh.. Gang of Four?
Sometimes, I hear Gollem from LOTR, but I still like it!
wauuu
@JonDeth
1. somehow this four-man band that plays analog instruments like drums and guitar is 'electronic diarrhea' made in Fruity Loops.
2. a song needs a distinct chorus and 'identifiable melody verses', whatever that means.
3. domino is a stax-style label with in-house session musicians whose bands sound in any way similar.
so yeah, that's three strikes. pfffft. go away.
great Gothic riff
@MegaHigster Wouldn't say they were kids :P
surrealism at its finest, dali must be smiling down from one of his clouds held by a cane.
Nice video and song! If you like this check out INOUWEE with the song "Liquids playing misty games" THX..
googled the lyrics.. couldn't find.. wth :S
vocals remind me of Placebo a bit
I like Clinic a lot
You mean Placebo remind you of Clinic (formed 1984) - Placebo (1994).
Nice Magritte references.
all work and no play makes johnny a dull boy. keep playing.
a real ultra violence
Their latest albums sound all the same! Sad...
This guys voice sounds a messload like that of Thom Yorke (Radiohead)! Does anyone else agree??
Well I quite like the video. What sucks is the band.
ooooo

Ok comment what you think he's saying....
Clinic is good but The Black Angels do the same sound better.
Kinda sounds like they are trying to be Radiohead, no offense...
lucifer samish...
hehe, you have issues
@heyvenus123 Liar.
