My favorite jazz tune ever... This song really showcases so many great things about the musicians and the fantastic qualities of latin jazz. Corea is such a legend, Patitucci is one of the best stand up players out there, and Weckl has the best drum chops out there. Not only is Weckl technically sound, but his musicality really stands out compared to most other notable technicians behind the kit. Cheers!
OMG!!!!!! This is a unique performance of this song. Everybody is really listening to each other.. John, incredible solo and interaction, and Dave.. wow.. Speechless.. One of his best solos ever, considering he plays a larger kit most of the time.. Chick you're AWESOME! Hope to see you in Mexico again soon! Much respect!
Don't be a wanker! Gadd had such a great respect for Dave Weckl he guested on a Chick Corea album which featured a track with both trading licks in an extended solo. People always creating friction where it's totally unfounded... Taking sides when both are in total agreement... You're comparing apples to apples, pal.

The evolution of these three players individually has created a really interesting contrast to the sound of the Trio years ago. Awesome

Christ! What an awful solo - this isn't a wanking tune. Gadd would have never flailed around like that.
