- I'm not sure how relevant this compilation is gonna be, since I don't know if this is a legit thing people would look for. Even for myself in fact, heavy bass melodic tracks is not something I would particularly search for, but these tracks are still something I've grown to appreciate a lot. So I thought I'd make a comp from them, since I didn't feature the vast majority of those. Even though I don't like featuring tracks twice, I chose to still include some ones that I already featured for the compilation to be 'complete', since the theme of it is quite specific, and quality melodic tracks like this are pretty rare.
I consider pretty much all of these tracks quite exotic with such bass, and the exoticness also makes them badass and cool. And I also can tell that these tracks aren't something I immediately find myself liking a lot. I do have to take a few listens to get used to heaviness and exoticness of them, or in fact listen to them in a few years to realize I now like them, so I may suggest you doing the same if you are not sure if you like these or not.
I also find that these tracks are MUCH more enjoyable in good headphones, compared to earbuds for example.

Hey, guys. Just wanted to leave this note in case you are coming here wondering if I will upload more music compilations. I know I said to some people here in the comments that I had planned to start uploading new compilations, but at the moment - this is not something that I am willing to pursue, as I got more important things to focus on in life, and I simply won't find enough time to dedicate to making those compilations.
There is a chance I might come back with new videos on the channel (music compilations or Battlefield montages) at any point in life, but I really wouldn't want you guys to count on it. Especially for music compilations, as I hardly imagine how much free time I should get in life for me to resume creating and uploading them.
This doesn't mean I am abandoning the channel though. As I'm still gonna be out there and I still read every comment you guys make (it in fact still gets me excited to see each new comment). So don't hesitate to keep them coming if you have anything to say!
I still explore and find new music as I normally do (and been doing for 10+ years), so if you would like to discover more music that I enjoy, beyond the existing compilations on the channel, you can check out my spreadsheet of all the music I like: goo.gl/fstKbM. You can even search the tracks there by mood or specific emotions that you prefer to see in music. I still constantly update this list and not planning to stop doing so anytime soon.

TheShadowHQ Heck yeah we like it! I literally just searched "melodic DnB 1 hour" - people are unpredictable I guess? Stoked to have found some big & amazing DnB tracks that aren't from Rob Gasser 😅 I'm a noob to this genre lol
Haha, big part of my goal with those compilations was to make them pop up when you search stuff like this! :D So I am really glad it happened for you! Yeah, I find Rob Gasser's stuff and most NCS DnB in general pretty low-tier, and myself have pretty high standards for one I listen to, so hope you can find some better stuff here. Tho if we speak about 'melodic', this compilation is probably one of the worst representatives from my channel of that characteristic, so I'd suggest you check out the other ones. And thanks a lot for sharing how you got here, it's always very interesting to me to know how people find me and some stories behind listening to my stuff!

Glad to see you still around, well, hope you will always be :) A while ago, I coincidentally checked the 'music for BF4 montages' folder that you made before, and I noticed that you added some new tracks, which actually surprised me not only because of the fact that you still update the folder but also because I found one favorite track there (Tidal Wave)! And I downloaded it xD So I have been really looking forward to the new comps of yours, thinking I would find some new favs :D
Well honestly tho, I didn't find many tracks that I liked this time, guess I'm just not a fan of heavy music. #1 for example, is too heavy for me. But as you say, it would be nice to come back sometime and listen again in the future to see if these tracks grow on me :)
Liked #4 tho! (not only because of the song name xD) This one is not too heavy, and overall it's somewhat beautiful! The same goes for #5, I really love the drop part of the track a lot! Hearing #6, I thought I generally like music by Feint, it often has somewhat recognizable vibes that I enjoy. #8 I can neither say I like it nor I don't like it, as I would love this track without the dirty sound in it actually xD Uhh, I don't prefer #9, 10, 11. But I have to say, you chose the perfect picture for #11, how heavy and badass it sounds. I'd like to also point out #13 too. It has some heavy, dirty sounds but I liked it, especially the ending of the track is cool. Didn't really like the rest, but again I have to come back later again and listen to them several times :)
I also hope to be here for as much as possible. Just the reality is that it will have to come to end at some point D:

Interesting thoughts you got there about this comp. #1 is pretty evidently the best one for me here, and like for no other track in this comp, I really suggest you listening more into it. It was actually kinda the thing that made me come up with such compilation idea. Well, technically track #7 came out a month ago, which I was listening to and feeling weird about its heavy bass, then I remembered the other track featuring Bensley that I had in my collection (#1) having the similar heavy bass, which I remember also took a while for me to get used to. So I played it to see how I felt about similar bass in the track where I ultimately got used it, and that's when I realized how absolutely awesome this track was, just the sheer depth and uniqueness of this track was so BREATHTAKING!
#4 I also consider very deep and unique, big part of which is the vocals, I find them quite exotic. My favorite part is 03:20 (16:19 of video time). It's also funny how only from like the FOURTH time of me considering you mentioning the title of this track I realized why you did it :D Over time I figured that my brain just completely doesn't work for relating whatever names to words. Like it took me so long to realize what 'T & Sugah' relates to, and just all the time when I see people mentioning some relations, it just blows my mind how I never thought of that :D
Hmm, I was pretty sure you liked #8 from previous Metrik comp, and checking your comment there you indeed said that you did :D
#13 was the first track I liked out of all those (it's just the oldest one here), and I remember I somewhat minded the heaviness of it, and pretty sure up until a few years ago I also did, but right now I don't mind it at all. Well, as all of these tracks in fact, I got used to all of them at one point or another. Actually if I think about it, probably only track #12 was fine for me from the very start, and I loved it right away, ALL other ones I had to get used to, whether from listening a lot of times at the time of finding the track, or hearing/relistening to it in a few years (this happened for tracks #6,11,14,15).
So underrated!

Yeah, didn't expect anyone to comment on every track, since this comp is rather different, but if you say you were drunk, this actually makes more sense :D. I think for someone who doesn't specifically listen to heavy tracks, all these ones pretty much require listening to them multiple times to start enjoying them. This was the case for me and I heard it from other people as well.
I also don't think I enjoy non-drop parts in #2, but drops in it are really great and dramatic. I was thinking that it was gonna be quite hard to find a picture for #4, but in the end I stumbled upon the one I used, and I was soo surprised how it was fitting perfectly to the track on so many different levels, felt almost like it was created specifically for this track! I have the same thoughts about #6 that it's light and heavy, which was primarily what I was looking for when finding a picture for it :D. As for other tracks, it was interesting to know which tracks you liked, and it's amusing to observe how different people have quite different selections of tracks they like here, even tho it should make complete sense for this kinda comp like for no other :D
But yeah, always really fun seeing comments like this mentioning every track, couldn't have asked for a better kind of comment! So I appreciate a lot you taking the time to write it! :D
TheShadowHQ you put in such an effort to share these tracks (and your thoughts via them) that it only seemed fair we should repay you. Although reading back my comments I now realise it must also be really boring for you to read through someone who’s not really into this genres comments track by track 😂. Sorry about that! But I trust your taste and remember that I never would have heard melodic dubstep as a genre if it wasn’t for you and also kove: into the fire which still haunts me :) I wanted to use it for my latest “xtra application” montage but bakychan used it day before 👊😂. Also just read on violets comment that you have updated the montage folder, will have a look if I can remember how to do it 😂. I really did enjoy listening even though it’s not my type of music and will listen a few more times as recommended by you and others to see if they grow even more on me 😁

Most of the tracks in this compilation are copyrighted, but it's fine to use them in your videos despite that. The videos are just gonna be monetized by copyright owners. This is what happens in most of my own videos too.
hey the shadow i had maybe most of your compilations downloaded, excluding them all, when i went to download again they were locked in my country, you know which country they are not locked in?
Damn, I didn't realize half of them got blocked, UA-cam didn't even notify me about that. It was completely fine last time I checked (like half a year ago tho). Some of them are totally blocked for EVERY country, but some are blocked only for some countries, and the list of countries varies from video to video. But also the pattern of which tracks are blocking the video doesn't make much sense. Usually the most popular tracks block videos, but apparently some compilations with most popular producers are fine, while some barely known ones are totally blocked everywhere D:
So I am not sure how I can help you with your question, you probably stumbled upon videos that were blocked just everywhere.
