It would probably be great at emulating retro consoles up to the Dreamcast. If they want to aim it at a gamer market, put some retro gaming stickers on it, load it up with retro arch and sell it that way.
Batocera would be better than Retroarch. Retroarch is tedious and irritating to navigate, especially for people who dislike constantly fiddling with settings. Batocera is more visually appealling, and it is far easier to use/more "dumbed down for the Average Joe".
It's not gaming ready, lol. But it's good for me, a senior who doesn't game on PC but instead on a gaming console. This pc is good for what I need it for, surfing, watching movies and UA-cam, office work, very light photo touch ups..etc.
The USB-C connector also actually makes a ton of sense, since the speed of a USB-C connected drive is basically that of a SATA SSD anyways. Makes installing once easy without having to get a dedicated SATA data cable and a spare SATA power cable.
I also have that 4 core 4 thread Celeron. it can run Minecraft with really dumbed down settings with Optifine. It also works well as a retro indie game box and emulation box. It came with Windows 10 pro. ( Which I upgraded for free to Windows 11 pro.)
Things that would increase performance on PC like this are: 1. debloating Win 10/11 (CPU is the bottleneck, and you do not want Windows service in background stealing CPU time) and 2. setting power plan to performance, turning game mode on in windows, possibly even tweaking BIOS for more power. Having said that, this thing is best suited for games up to year 2010 with mid-low settings. AMD APU are usually better for lite gaming.
Honestly, for a Celeron with integrated graphics, this thing is impressive. You can't lose if you throttle your expectations a little bit. This would not be possible without the Intel vs. AMD competition.
this would be great for a "DIY" cabinet for emulators such as SNES9x, MAME, N64, DreanEmu, and etc. far as it being current gen game ready no but it packs more then enough punch to really rock out on some retro titles and emulators .
I bought that pc a few months ago, Ex-Zodiac struggles to run, however it does old games pre 2005 reasonably well, anything newer it struggles, I bought it to connect to tv as a media player
80fps with a $200 pc on minecraft is actually amazing even on low settings. I've had a 3060ti with a 10th gen i-7 and I've had trouble keeping 60fps with max settings.
Even Celerons today are badass cpus. I never thought I'd see the day when a celeron with just integrated graphics would perform this well! I'm impressed.
lmfao that was funny matt when u went to read his name and u said . i dnt think i can say that. then i looked at the name and started crying i was laughing so hard. great stuff as always guys!
I have same exact looking PC but it's called AcePc GK1. I only bought it for discord and other programs definitely not for gaming. 3-4 years strong with this bad boy. I messed up by not buying a SSD drive or hard drive for it.
Actually, this computer is for gaming. You can probably play most of the games right up to 2015 on it. There were some awesome titles in that time and you can play them by spending only 200$ instead of having to pay 2000 US for a computer ta would be able to run contemporary titles in acceptble framerate. Technically the description is right.
Let me play devil's advocate your definition of gaming is not everybody else's. You could argue if it can play Doom or quake 3 or any of the smaller 2D games like darkest dungeon than does it qualify as gaming ready
I just scored a 1TB Gen4 NVMe drive off Temu for $40. 7000Mbps advertised speeds. Excited to test it and see how accurate it is. Like any of these kinds of sites, they can be very misleading. They sell fake vintage coins as legit.
I bought a lenovo pc two years ago for a lot more money. Fewer ports and less power than this. As a simple desktop for non gamers the Blackview looks a bargain.
Ngl besides the very *Questionable* marketing, this mini pc is actually alright if your sticking to just casual computing but do not even think about doing anything more demanding than a 1080p youtube stream. I have something very similar for university work and i cant really say i havnt gotten my moneys worth
"Gaming ready" possibly directed towards the emulator players over the large title games. 🤷♂️ Just saw all the comments that say the same as me just look over me. Go toasty bros! 😅
The word gaming really doesn't mean anything. From as far as like 10 years ago when I first bought my PC there were so many "gaming" stuff, but I research before I buy. So my pc at the time was gaming ready but it looked like an office PC.
There weren't really demanding games back then. Most of what people played alot was dota 1, wow, starcraft. But anything branded gaming is just extra costs for the consumer.

The small PC actually looks decent design wise. Now imagine this with the most recent AMD APU.
they copied Intel..
@@maniacusgames3621 so intel should monopolize apu's, and small pc's? Most things in the world are based off other things, dude.

Not gonna lie for $200 I’m surprised turned on and even loaded CSGO let alone the game actually ran. 😂
lmao for $180 i build a decent gaming budget build :)
What's the point though, might aswell put it towards a gpu

Temu is Wish 2.0 lol
Robox slide show looked more like a power point presentation LOL.
Blackview is a decent brand I've heard, I think the temu seller just slapped on gaming for more sales
My family used to own blackview smart phones, they are really great and they are rugged. I never knew they specialized on PCs as well

For these small form factor mini pc, labeled with “gaming ready”, I’ll assume they mean retro emulations.

Celerons have 4 cores now?
@floydlooney6837 I didn't know that either. That's crazy. I'm sure the cache is still lower than pentiums and core series but dang.
i remember blackview for making budget smartphones. funny seeing them make mini pcs now

Black view made phones now doing gaming pc
I love the roadkill T-Shirt. Never thought you guys would be fans.
I think old games like re4, simpsons hit and run should probably run well and Emulation should run a treat PS1, Dreamcast.
I wonder if fsr 3.0 (when it drops) will actually be able to help a system like that perform in certain games assuming it works with the igpu

I'm using 16GB RAM version for my Roon Core (HiRes music server / very own music streaming service) . Couldn't be more happy.
Can’t wait for ultra SFF systems to be the norm for high performance gaming rigs.

Y’all should try to beat the temu pc using the same budget for a full build

I would install OptiFine in Minecraft with that CPU. I use OptiFine and I have an i7 8700k.
Get a N100 CPU driven mini pc... you will see a lot more power.
I've got like 4tb of Somnabulist red dragons and black bears from Temu in my gaming PC 😂
