To me, it was like "Do I have 20mins to get somewhere? Or am I free to use as much time as I feel like?" Two wheelers seemed quick and nimble... Three wheelers are slow, relaxed and safe because of the slower speeds. I wanted a bike to transport the kids and pick up groceries on the way. Working from home, I have a lot of freedom to choose when to jump on the bike and how long I can be away from home. I don't have much rush, and slow is good with me. Three wheelers are great if you're the type to just cruise around. Of course, it also depends on the infrastructure around you. I'm in a small town with lots and lots of smooth paths. I don't spend a lot of time beside cars.
even without watching first your video I opted for a 2 wheels cargo ebike, thank you for confirming my opinion about pluses and minuses of the two options, i totally agree with it
I was concerned about stability on the two wheelers, but have never tried one. Happy to have it confirmed cause… yea Greenland is occasionally slippery…
Well, this has made me question my desire for a trike. Although I knew most of this, I was suppressing my awareness of some of the downsides and only thinking "it's better so it costs more"
I cycle everyday to work and am confident in the bike with the kids on the back of my gravel bike on the tag along or bike seat, my wife is less confident so I t’s a 3 wheel for us. As she will do the nursery/school drop offs
I will write a little about your post and send it out with a text that can hopefully spread your message about which type of cargo bike you have the greatest chance of being happy with. :)
I'm waiting to laugh at someone trying to get either configuration cargo bike along the alleged cycle route outside my house, it's hard enough getting a standard bicycle through the chicanes, after I finish laughing, I'll get a whole new comedy show as they try to get it up the flight of steps in the footpath to the road. Three guesses why I'm not in the market to buy a cargo bike, useful as one would be if it was actually possible to use.
@@VengD Am I not permitted to learn about them in spite of my local authority making them impractical despite their attempts to claim "cycle infrastructure"? I wasn't aware of that law, please tell me when parliament passed the act prohibiting any such interest along with the name they attached to the law.

Great advice. Thank you for taking the time

Only thing keeping me from a 2 wheeler is the price, trikes seem to be much cheaper.

Thanks you for perfect info.

So... Why are you on a video about pros and cons about cargo bikes?

@@beardyface8492 you must be fun at... oh who am i kidding.
@@nonegone7170 Don't worry, it'd take a minimum of a court order to get me to go to one. Even then I might pick jail instead.
