Love how much pride and care is taken in your equipment. It is shown in your end product. Keep up great work!!
I paved for 37 seasons, 12 in my own business. You are a good man, your comments at the end of this video makes you a man of means. Mean what you say, say what you mean. For me it was always about ease of operation, making it better for the men and job quality. Also it was always about letting the people know thier worth, that we aren't unskilled labor. People just don't know what it takes to make blacktop look like that. the truck is a work of art, if only we had that as young men in the trade
That new truck is awesome, and it just spoke for itself on why it has its own place on any jobsite. The company I work with is based out of Illinois and Missouri and is significantly smaller operations than this, but we still have early 90's model international dump trucks that we use every day, and it truly is eye opening seeing these videos about how far the industry has come.
As with auto production, a lot of ideas come from backyard customizers. This is a prime example of ideas from "them that's doing". I seen the trucks in the shop tour and thought how sharp they looked. You may want to park #2 in the living room, just so you can look and say "this is our idea", I can't believe we did this" perfect example of spending a buck to make a buck. Reinvest into your company. Make it grow. A life's work your sons will be proud to carry on. Thanks for the intro to the new addition of tools you use everyday.
Damn man. You guys just changed the entire dump truck industry. I don’t have the slightest clue about the paving industry, but man that looks like a slick truck to operate.
A lot of people talk about first impressions. That first "walk-up impression" can set the tone with a new potential customer. There's always competition and a clean, sharp appearance is an easy first step. These guys are ahead of that game!

Awesome design! You could potentially solve the auger reach issue with a secondary auger that folds up to still keep the machine compact. Similar to a grain auger system. Then the truck could park on the road and you would have reach and maneuverability in the auger to reach the far out spots.
