It seems that most people are confused as to what this interaction means.
Kindred is the entity that everyone meets after death. So when Isolde (pronounced "Izuhld), Viego's wife, died, she also met Kindred and was guided by them. This is what Viego meant when he said "answer for your crimes". Kindred's crime, at least to Viego, is that they led Isolde after her death.

Yeah if Evelyn have a fucking interaction when buying Void Staff I don't understand why Viego can't have one when buying BOTRK.
The reason for this is because he was in development while the items were being reworked and they weren't certain whether or not BORK would remain in the game. They only can make a limited amount of voice lines and they didn't want to potentially waste one.
As a lore person, I remember listening to the uncle voice line and going: “WAIT WAIT WAIT WAIT UNCLE?!”
The death one is super funny too I wish I could talk to death like that guy does :D

I mean, I'm not asking for 15 minutes filled with interactions like it was the case for Aatrox, but considering how lore-heavy this guy is I expected a little more. Maybe some vs some Bilgewater guys, taunting them about how the try to defend their islands. Or what about Mordekaiser?
And not even a line for buying his OWN FUCKING BLADE.

He fears the truth, that Isolde sees him for the monster that he is and despises him for it. That the love he held for her was not reciprocated, that his delusions of romanticism are just lies to cover up his covetous idea of ‘love’.
That’s the weakness of his will, a rather pivotal point in defeating him in Ruined King.
Most of the other Undead are much more… single minded. What they fear most has already come to pass.
What trauma they have, they already live though their unlife.

@@rustkarl it’s strange how his interactions are, because if it was fear, there’d be lines about spiders or deep oceans or shit, but it’s all traumatic events that happened. So, maybe not fear, but something more akin to trauma?

We need a Vlad visual rework, all those Black Rose and Viego interactions would be great, also he brought back Sion performing the ritual
He need a visual rework that make him taller, because his old model were based on his old lore in which he was a teenager. He need not just interaction with Black Rose, Mordekaiser, and Viego. He also need interaction with Shuriman champions (Vlad even know how to read ancient Shuriman language), all Darkins (Aatrox, Varus, Rhaast), Shadow Isles champions, Yordles, Demacian, Noxian, and any champion he interacted with in Legend of Runeterra like Anivia and Zed.
It might sound demanding, but Vlad simply have too many connection with others that make it worthwhile. Viego, while have his own game that centered around him, yet in League he have voicelines less than 6 min, which is a bit dissapointing for a character that played major role in the lore.

Like Aatrox's soft-spoken ones/lines, like his "beasts have pity, so I'm not a beast" and "I have no goodness left cause it was stolen" lines. He KNOWS what kind of an asshole this mass-murdering jerk of a killer-monster he himself is now, but he believes there's no reason to stop because all of them were taken from him.

i am genuinely upset about two things, One is that he has no line for buying bork, and Two is that he has no Morde interactions
Isn't Mordekaiser someone pretty much everyone forgot and only a few important noxians like Swain and Vladimir know about?
Yes, but three things, One is that being as old as he is (vlads his uncle) it would make some sense that hed know about Mordekaiser, Two is that through his strong connections to the powers of undeath he finds out about him that way, and lastly league does interactions that dont make sense lore wise all the time (see any Morde, or Galio voice lines). I honestly just feel like it was a missed opportunity seeing as they are both like MASSIVE power houses in terms of death magic and undeath shit
I belive because Viego obscession is find Isolde also the Shadow Isles are a realm of not Death while our metal boi Mordekaiser lives in the Realm of actually Death and what happens in the SI is not matter of him as is not important for Mordekaiser plans.

I find the accent they chose for Viego very interesting! I'm glad that they didn't choose to have him speak in a stereotypical, suave London accent and actually made him sound like he could be from an ancient European-esque kingdom.
Speaking of, does anyone have an idea what his accent is? It sounds like it could be Welsh or Spanish to me, but I'm not sure. Perhaps they took the Lillia route and made his accent more _~unique~_ from what it's based on?

For those that find confusing with the Viego interacting towards Yorick:
Isolde sank into the Blessed Water when Viego put her down there. Somehow her soul merged into the Water and later splitted up into fragments.
Yorick however like the other monks at the isles, carries a vial on their neck that contains the Blessed Water, which protects them from Ruination. Those are separated from the water Isolde merged with, since Yorick had the vial before Ruination.
Viego, confused and delusional sees Isolde everywhere. With the Interaction toward Yorick, he refer to the vial that Yorick is carrying on his neck.
Maiden of the Mist is just a Ruined creature that sees Viego as the creator of Ruination, refering BotRK as "The Blade of the Father".
I always imagined the Ruined King as an older man with facial hair. Viego looks and sounds like a telenovela protagonist. Still gonna play him when he goes live.

I think his voicelines aren't final. Riot usually has 15 mins worh of voicelines for new champs and reworked champs. I think they're intentionally not releasing the entire voicelines because they may have spoilers for the Ruined King game coming out soon. But, just a guess, I could be wrong.
@@titocristobal5573 Na they are lazy,Rell has 4 min, Ez academy has 4 min of interactions while God King garen 15, God Fist 15 min, and Camille has a 24 min of interactions.
Sadly they stopped giving non-champion interactions after Irelia's rework. That includes attack and destroying structures, attacking and slaying (epic) monsters, and purchasing items. The only non-champion interaction that they still have are the movement interactions such as first move and long move.
I really want to know the plot between Viego and Vlad.
Brief summary, Vladimir´s father, gave his youngest son to the Darkin (Aatrox, Rhaast, etc) so that Vlad may serve them as a slave. Later Vlad learns blood magic from them, because the Darkin thought lolz, wouldn´t it be funny if we showed a human how to use it.
Meanwhile, Vlad´s older brother became the next king of said kingdom, and then Viego. None in the family bothered to know how Vlad was doing, nor answered his letters.

Vladimirs parents had a lot of childeren but they gave vladimir to darkins but darkins gave vladimir blood magic one of vlads siblings had children and the kid became a king that's it

They are related, Vladimir is from a forgotten fabled kingdom, Viego is from a kingdom that was forgptten, Vlad's family gave him to the Darkin because he had so much brothers that it didn't matter if he died, one of Vlad's older brothers would be Viego's father, and i think there was more but that's pretty much the gist of it
The forgotten Kingdom gave Vladimir to the darkins, so they didn't care about his fate, When Vlad got all his powers, maybe he wrote a letter but got no answers since his own kingdom didn't care about him

Vladimir supposed to forgot many of his life history, that he even forgotten his name at his lore. He should be have no idea who Viego is. If he could remember about Viego and being angry toward him, that might hint Vlad would make an apperance in The Ruined King game.
The one thing this guy ruined most, was his self.
The level of writing in this comment is the same that all the voice lines of Viego have. Fucking Wattpad have all this kid thinking they are shakespeare.

@@sajeloyd986 "Cool meanings" and "Interesting" as they don't even give more information on lore or any hints at the upcoming events. Look at Swain's and Sylas's. That's the definition of a good interaction. Viego lines are basically "Oh I love my wife and I kill everyone for it" on repeat. No item interactions, champion interactions are boring, almost no personality in them. Personally I found him too cringey because those lines feel like they were written by some edgy emo kids. This is the definition of one-sided character.
I love the interaction with Kindred and how proud he is of conquering death. I really hope Kindred gets a new cinematic appearance as the Ruination goes on, or at least an appearance in the new game ^^
1:59, i think this might be the best voice line right here. It's not the most clever, but it highlights the tragedy of the situation. Viego brought an onslaught of death for his wife, and when he finally sees himself through his wife's eyes, he realizes how disappointed and scared she must be. It's like a moment of humanity for someone who stopped being human a long time ago.
Alright, here is my headcanon as to where isolde is.
My theory is that during the ruination, when isolde was "brought back", her soul was split into 3 fragments. The first fragment lies within senna. The second, more corrupt fragment is the maiden of the mist, and the third, strongest fragment, is powering Mordekaiser's Immortal Bastion, and mordekaiser's ability to remain in this realm.
I'm not saying I'm right but I thought the mist and Mordekaiser's Death Realm were separate things
@@Zozakaoo7 they are, but the death realm is described as a barren gray wasteland, devoid of life, according to mordekaiser's lore. I think that the immortal bastion has the distinct green colour because it has something to do with the mist, and what better to power it than the strongest fragment of isolde?
At 0:55, Veigo sounds Mildly annoyed at Kindread instead of angry at them. It has a “What the heck, not cool man” energy to it.
Don't let Vladimir being Viego uncle distract you from the fact that Yorick now has 100 percent wifesteal

1:30 this part keeps me thinking. He says the name Isolde so softly, so I'm convinced he DID truly loved her. And every few times whenever Isolde is mentioned he goes "..isolde?" in a calm manner. I NEED ANSWERS RIOT
I’m here with answers! They both loved eachother, after she died, and viego did…all that for her, she lost her love for him. The love should’ve died with her, and all. I know at this point it’s useless because it’s widely known but HEY why not

She lost her love for him after he refused to let her rest and did everything he did in her name (the ruination, both the first blessed isles and the actual ruination). She loved him until the moment she died “I loved you with my final breath,” he demanded more of it. That’s why she doesn’t love him anymore.
I think it’s fantastic writing! Because it makes no sense for her to love him after all that! Imagine if you died, and your significant other threw the world into despair, murdered countless individuals, and fucked everything up, just to see you again. That’s toxic behavior, that isn’t okay, it shouldn’t be treated with open arms. No sane person would love someone after that, not truly, not the same. Bad writing would be if she loved him, still.

The story should make him more of a victim-villain with a reasoning instead of something that... died like out of nowhere
Also, if your girlfriend did that, you would not just lose your love towards her. You would be terrified by what has she become and you would still be loving and craving the person that was there - it should be made a true love story that has been corrupted and turned into nightmare, but not "dissapeared" and "changed" like that.

Fun the interaction with Vladimir. I think he does not remember how he only ruled for her queen and that caused a huge amount of problems to which he did nothing. And that was the reason for which a conspiracy tried to kill him. And it was way worse when he was completely obssessed to resurrect her queen over everything.
Well, he does not even remember his wife killed him. That's why he cannot understand why Isolde runs away from him.
Now that i think about it, why is she even running away ? Why not just talking if she's not okay with what he did to bring her back?
Since it's obvious from the way he act that he is not ressentful about the stab moment and i don't think that's why she's running away

Well, I think that this isn't his entire voicelines. Riot hasn't released them entirely yet because they may have spoilers to the Ruined King game coming out soon, plus the Ruined Queen would be the next champ to come out so new lines may be added to him when she gets released too. If that is the case, it would be pretty cool to have the champ in game gain more lines with every change that happens in game and as well as out of the game.
