I'm born and bred in the US and I have no idea what Cool Whip is. I know it exists but we've always used real whipped cream when a recipe calls for a "whipped topping."
I don’t understand how someone was born and bred in the United States and has no idea what Cool Whip is, you had to have seen it in a store in the freezer section at one point in your life even if you’ve never used it…

Cool whip is 100% chemicals. Alternative is using real whipped cream.
