I've been shouting from the rooftops for someone to make Deka scales basically since the V1 released! I love SO much about that knife, but the FRN is a pass, the G-Mascus looks like a peacock, and the black is just, well, kinda boring imo lol. Imagine the wharnny with milled or frag Ti scales... or a really nice micarta... or crosscut CF... Aesthetics alone, the Deka Wharnny has always caught my attention. Just wish it had more support, Id prob build a Deka over a Bugout 8 days a week.
I really like my 20cv G10 deka. It feels kinda cheap when you expect a full weight knife, but it’s really solid for what it is. At the end of the day, it’s a bugout competitor so it’s gonna be light in principle.
Got my Two Sun TS223 today Jerad and it’s amazing! Thank you for all the videos where you raved about it. It’s just an amazing knife and I’m happy I chose it as my first Two Sun. I have the TS bug now.

Definitely interested in the Kansept. That deka has a lot of flex in the scales. I'm sure someone will make scales for it, but then that's more money to make it the knife I'd want.
I absolutely love my Böker Kwaiken Air Mini. It fits nicely in a breast pocket when dressed up and looks like a pen when there. Snappy and drop-shutty when broken in. Highly recommended.
Yeah the FRN feels like crap, it's taking some getting used to to appreciate it I guess 😂😭 but I just bought it for the MAGNACUT really. It was the cheapest option out there 🤪

Would definitely love to see the deka tested. On the fence on purchasing it as the scales leave a lot to be desired. They should probably have gone with quality scales considering the deka has a nonexistent aftermarket atm.
I’d love to see more on the magnacut deka! I picked up the smkw exclusive sub zero version and haven’t even used it yet! Only fidget with it lol love how smooth it is and how thin the blade is and wish I could bring myself to start cutting with it like it’s meant to be used!

My BIG question to all the manufacturers and designers is.... Why no quillon? Such as my edc cold steel Luzon and tilite. Or smith and Wesson extreme ops bulls eye. Why is it so difficult to find a clip pocket pressure flipper with no springs and a nice slender straight blade? I actually use my c.s. Luzon and tilite for bird taxidermy and a nice, sharp, slender straight blade is essential. Otherwise it's the best self defense knife on the market for speed. Do you know of any other knives that clip and flip on the way out of the pocket? I WANT MORE!!! have a nice evening sir, thank you for your time.
With how thin the Deka bladestock is, I'd imagine if you layed the edge back a bit it'd be an absolute laserbeam, no? Maybe its a strength/stability thing, too thin/acute = too fragile of an edge?

I have a Magnacut Bradford Guardian 3.5, and it's impressed me so far.I put my own edge on it right away. It's held that edge pretty well, and it took a crazy sharp edge. I do hope to get some folders in that steel, just not thrilled with the frn.

I have an older version of the Deka, with clip point in CPM 20CV. I daily carry it pretty frequently and really like it, but it does not have deep carry clip, like the one you have. Is that an aftermarket clip, or OEM? I would also be interested to see your experience on the Magnacut...there's a lot of opinions on this steel, so your opinion on sharpening and maintenance of this particular one would be great.
The gen2 deka comes with a deep carry clip. It also has less screws in the scales. Im also interested in the magnacut. Considering buying one and swapping the g10 scales if I can.
Deka in Magnacut seems to dull quickly. Cheap scales. Seems weak. I like the clip and the wharny shape. Good action with the axis lock. I wish aftermarket scales were available. If anyone can point me to aftermarket scales that would be awesome.

Makes me wonder why they didn't just go with g10 and bump the price up a few bucks. Been seeing a lot of complaints on the scales.

I was never attracted to lightweight knives I would prefer g-10.
None of these are serrated though. Gotta have serration on an edc knife.

Glowrhino has all kinds of knives and prybars and other stuff that glow and they also make the glow inserts to put in other stuff they don't make
All acta on verba knives have some glow on them
