The Range Rover is one of those vehicles that is rarely used to it's full potential. The 4X4 system is super awesome.

I just bought a 2013 LR4 sight unseen. 1 owner, 74K, from southern state, all service has been done. It's awesome! I think the crappy reputation came from the Discovery 1,2 and some stuff on the 3.These vehicles are very heavy duty and weigh 0ver 6,500 lbs. In England they call them trucks not cars!

That where I drive by where you got pulled over lots of speed traps Mulvane,ks bad for speeders.
Last ticket I got in 1993 was in Oklahoma on a more or less back road. The local yocals will get you there because they can't get you on the interstates.
You can go 90 to 100 on the interstates and never get stopped but you go a few over on a local or violate an obscure sign they'll get you.

I've bought two of them my first one lasted like 8 yrs before i took everything out of it to clean it up and it fell apart it lasted after being ran over by lots of car's and trucks and begging smashed under hods of car's the next one i bought fell apart three days after i opened i was mad because i lost $200 in bills because it fell apart

I got myself a ridge wallet a while back, happy with it, and you guys are lucky that you can choose to not have ethanol in your gas, we just got 10% in regular gas, premium has 5% so in sweden ethanol is a must in gas wich is stupid, for diesel we also have some enviro stuff mixed into it, makes it less energy dense and you can't leave it for a month or less or you got algae growing

Nice video randy. You should try a cheap dent puller to pull out the little hail dents and see if it works.
That bracket is for a carrier bearing on the ‘55, lots of people eliminate the two piece driveshafts of the early style

The yellow pump light is hardly anything. Sometimes it’s just that your gas cap is loose, not properly closed. I get it once every few fill ups

The biggest problems with Range Rovers are wheel speed sensors, when they are faulty it will show up as anything. They do need an excellent battery. Stu
I believe Jeremy Clarkson has a similar Range Rover, so I guess a logical question is will Randy try to become a farmer next? I mean you’re already in Oklahoma, plenty of farm land available there! That would be fun to watch!

That wallet is cool and so is that Rover, I'd take either one if you want give both away. The issue with Range Rover codes is that sometimes the engine lights come on because sometimes something will decide to stop working momentarily then comes back on, but it trips a code. We had fleet Range Rovers and Land Rovers for the company I worked for and this was the case all the time. We always had ours gone through because It was absolutely imperative our vehicles worked flawlessly, and our mechanics would never find anything wrong and that was the excuse Land Rover engineers gave us. These are temperamental vehicles and never get the 4 cylinder version of this or the Jaguar or Volvo.
TK needed a Range Rover… I was expecting to see a race in Mexico. - I was hoping to see that happen in the Jaguars.. 😂👍🏼
Had a ridge wallet when they were first on kickstarter. Loved it except for the screws all backed out and it fell apart. Im sure theyve fixed that by now and that carbon fiber sure is sexy.

One of the most comfortable rides as well as handling of the road was a 2020 Landover I drove as a rental for a trip I took about a year ago. Considered buying one but could not see paying 100,000 for a car. Also, I know Randy says this one is solid, but everywhere I have read, says after 60 or 70k miles, your wallet will take another massive hit. But love the feel of this car when driving. The quiet but powerful beast under the hood, that got amazing fuel efficiency for as big of a car and beast of an engine.
I love car reviews and you are good explaining and you give the price purchase of the vehicles good platform.

I love my Rover. Do I think they’re the best off-roader? No. Do I think they’re great? Yes. Will I ever sell mine? Probably not. I’ve replaced the ac compressor in it, it’s had multiple air shocks, and an air suspension compressor. The suspension runs into issues with bags popping due to chafing from road grim. A simple boot over them would solve that and someday I’ll be adding it to mine.
man range rovers are dope but i was always told, never never buy a used one. thats so crazy that you got one with basically no issues! and a new transfer case? thats thousands of dollars alone! nice find. oh and ya i can use a new wallet. :)

Nice video. I am on the fence, as far as the ridge wallet goes. That SUV is awesome. It would make a very nice car for someone looking to upgrade to a luxury vehicle.
Maybe the digital audio control module is that remote control thats in the rear center arm rest.
I know it sounds weird but these Land Rover's can be quirky, however I know from experience that just turning the ignition on and then shutting the door turns the ignition off, Had the same issue while trying to scan my mom's 2012 Range Rover.
