My mother was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She had jewelry and a handbook just like what you found. I'd say the value is in who wore them. I look forward to having my mother's Eastern Star memorabilia mostly to remember her by. I wonder if they would like you to return them or maybe they are just getting on with their life in Hawaii and not looking back.

That ring is for 32nd Mason I believe, it's beautiful. My grandfather was a 32nd Mason and my mom was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, they were from the San Diego area.
Wow! Great finds. I am working on eBay listings and listening more than watching when I hear you say, "Campfire Girls"10:53 minutes in.. And, that is what I am working on! A ceremonial gown from the 1970s with pins and badges. Wow! That is work coming right through the screen to me! LOL!
Oh my goodness... Death Row Records... I remember that from the 90s. D.O.C, Dr Dre. Snoop Dogg has ownership (I think). That shirt flashes me back to 1989-1991. Now I feel old!!!
Luna is a gorgeous cat! Those candlesticks and the other silver items are quite the find! That first knife looks like a Nepalese Kukri - it could be a copy though.
The double-headed eagle is commonly emblazoned upon rings and hats worn by brothers within the Scottish Rite. In this regard, it is thought of as a symbol of prestige, as the Scottish Rite is a rather exclusive section of Freemasonry. You can identify the double-headed eagle of the 32nd degree by how the eagle’s wings are arranged
The ring is correctly identified as being linked with the Scottish Rite of Freemasonry and this symbolism is usually associated with American Masons. The Order of The Eastern Star is an offshoot of Freemasonry worldwide and is usually open to ladies.
Your wife is right... As an MSN CCRN have worked with many surgeons over the years. You truly have the persistence, perseverance and meticulous care required. Sometimes, even they have to bring out the "big guns". God Bless!
Ty for the video guys, an absolute pleasure as always. All it takes to be a surgeon is to learn, understand and remember things. But most of all is to have very steady hands, from what I can tell you qualified Jack.
I used to have really steady hands, and I drew/illustrated a lot. Now I feel like my hands are getting shaky the older I get, but perhaps that's because I drink an obscene amount of coffee LOL.

The jewelry is beautiful on camera. However, I am certain the camera didn’t do it justice. Thank you for sharing all of this amazing artistry with us. As a sidenote, I would definitely check the beads for any ivory. Looked like Jade, silver and precious stones. I’m impressed by your eye. Thanks again for taking us with you on these adventures. Fantastic finds at the yard sale. I loved it all but if I had to choose one niche (couldn't settle on just one thing) it would be the jewellery/beads. Unique!
The turquoise, i believe, is called sleeping beauty. If so, it is not being mined anymore. The long stran of small opaque disks , i believe, are called ethiopian opals. The large round stones are possibly moonstones. There was a small stran of stones at the bottom of the tray with the turquoise looks like garnets. Also, I have the vintage popeye to your vintage sweetpea. I love the stones to make jewelry with . Great grab!! I would have done the same. Love your content. Wish i could do the same. Also enjoy the scenery and stories of the bay area. I was born in oakland, lived in Pleasanton and moved to santa rosa before moving to Washington state. Kept going north. No matter if it's the least expensive item you found, it's the most valuable to me personally. I need to find one of those now that I know they officially made those!

On your 735. Haul, yes you out did your selves. Id give my eye teeth for the turquoise 8 or 10 and some of the other pieces to make a 36" necklace. I saw one in 1971 when I worked in el past, tx. So beautiful, and the purses and scarves so so lovely. Fondly, mrs jo brewer
Even though I'm late I just love what you find and can work with that. What a enjoyable life you guys have for sure. God Bless. I watch on my time taking a break.
The silk monogram S Erte scarf can be worth some money 💰. Especially, if infact it's vintage. Erte was a Russian-French art deco designer. Some say one of the forefathers of art deco.
How AWESOME. It's interesting after watching the other parts of this storage unit unfolding. What was safe worthy to them verses what other treasures you found.. My Grandma was in the Eastern Star order. Grandpa was a Mason (he passed when I was 5) But Grandma lived to be just shy of 90yrs old. She has been gone 41 yrs. I have her Eastern Star jewelry. Hers is beautiful she always bought the best. Gold with the points of the star was a different gemstone because of the color. Each one symbolized something different. She loved being an Eastern Star and she was a wonderful Christian lady. Fun to watch 🌹The bonus footage from the buy. Great stuff. Italian Leather Purses are always great purses usually made so well. Watches and the beautiful stones. Exciting
Wow! Great score! I counted and there are well over 200 items. So, an average price of $3.68/each. Lol My favorites are the elephant serving set, Elvis, & jewelry.

I think the long triangular type pewter tray was used to hold crackers to be served with soup or aside a cheese tray. 😊 Those are really neat and can make plain ole salteens look fancy!
Not sure if they want that photo book, but I'm putting it in their stack to be returned.
