What is this got me through one of toughest times in my life. Loosing my brother and the a few months later my nephew who took his life. My heart was so heavy that song got me back to God and his covering. Bishop Hawkins had a powerful impact on my life. May he continue to rest in peace. The father says well done my faithful servant for ministering to so many across the world. 🙏🏽
I remember being a little girl in the car with my family heading to church listening to him all the time. His music, and his family have been an anchor to my journey with Christ Jesus. Thank you Walter for what you did in my life and how I reunited with our Savior again.
What a marvelous thing He’s done… the belated Walter Hawkin is still touching my life. I stumbled upon his music a little over a year ago and now Marvelous is to start my personal worship. In the morning, in the evening, in the car… when we start to praise and worship, we have to start with Marvelous… thank you God for a beautiful soul. Bless his family, friends, and the many lives where he made an impact ❤
I remember seeing bishop Hawkins when they used to come to the War Memorial Building in Trenton, NJ and my Mom had every one of the Hawkins albums. Always a joy to listen to the Hawkins family. And Bishop Hawkins truly had an angelic voice. Can't wait to sing with him in glory, honoring our father God, and our Savior Jesus Christ.
May he rest in peace. Every time he opened his mouth, the anointing would flow like a river. Especially when he sung "Marvelous". It's like he knew he was going home to be with the Lord.
He save one more, "me" Bishop Walter Hawkins, as i watch his home going service to be with the Lord, I receive the closing message the Pastor that preach and i touch and agree with the church that the seed of Pastor W. Hawkins, will take his father place. Amen 2021

For those who are confused, Walter passed back on July 11th,2010. His older brother Edwin Hawkins passed back on January 15th,2018. They both passed from pancreatic cancer.

Tramaine, the mother of his two children, was at his funeral. She sang and called the kids up on stage as she talked about their visionary father. Tramaine isn't seen as former wife nor former first lady though she did walk in those shoes. 👠👠 Walter and Tramaine were a musical combo like none other. Tramaine continues to support Bishop Walter's legacy. After all, her son Jamie, is a the helm of the ship. 💒

Just interested to see how it started. But four hours? That’s why I used to rarely go to “Homegoing” services. It seems the Covid-19 has helped churches to understand the excessive nature of such lengthy tributes. PWG
