OMG the Site is massive. Thanks for walking tour. I’m in my late 70’s and have walking difficulties. If I won a lot of money then my ambition would be to hire a Pod in the “posh area” have all home comforts and sit outside and listen to all the music. I can dream 🥺❤️🐸
I was there for the first one in 1970 and been back once since as crew. That's enough for me. I can't see what the attraction is these days. Have fun ☺️
What's the issue? The organisation of the festival isn't the consumers problem. Is it the fact different genres of music is now played there? I see so many people complaining that Glastonbury isn't what it used to be due to the artists. The organisation has to make a profit and has to draw in the crowds, 1 particular genre doesn't work anymore times have changed and the industries need to adjust and keep up with the musical interests and demand. The days of indie rock and such genres will not carry the festival anymore they have to keep up. Society wants variety and will pay good money to see the artists.
The attraction is people wanting to have fun, n see live performances, camp out, and enjoy life. 😂😂😂 why can't you see the attraction? It's so sad that the previous generations try to act like they owned Glastonbury 😂 it's not the same it's rubbish now it's not like before. Oh boohoo neither is the world. We don't smoke on buses n trains we have health and safety laws. 😂😂Nothing is the same as it was in the 60s or 70s ffs 😂😂😂 stop tryna act like those attending now are any less or in anyway below those who attended years back. It's so pathetic.

Cool video! Ive never been to Glastonbury festival, might try and get tickets next year. The headliners dont look that good this year but i bet it will be an amazing time for everyone regardless
They would have been the last years before Michael bought his 'superwall' As fun and rock n roll as that was, getting in free etc. It was purely those actions which determined and paved the way for how it is today, the wall, security, photo on tickets etc. Towards the end of the 90's it just got too dangerous and it was close to ending the festival because of that. What was implemented in 2001 needed to happen otherwise Michael would not have been granted the licence to run it. It is what it is...........☺️😎
Hay dude...on 28 june, 3 girls rock heavy metal band from indonesia 'VoB' (Voice of Baceprot) perform at glastonbury, come record perform them in your chanel, these good band amazing and talentted for the young ladies, big fans in indonesia is waiting perform them 🔥🔥🔥
It’s a much better experience as a volunteer - you get a crew campsite with showers you can actually get into and not queue forever and loos (same ones but fewer people per loo). You get meal tickets for the crew catering tent. You get to know your team so you have instant acquaintances even if not friends. You don’t lose your tent in a sea of tents. But you do have to work or you won’t be allowed back.
The number of people who claim to have been to the 1970 Glastonbury festival is like those claiming to seen the Beatles at the Cavern. If such were true both would have Woodstock sized audiences!
I haven't been since 1990 ...This brings back memories ...Thank you.

It would be very different without the flags! Thanks for watching!
Ain't that the Other stage?
The video covers from PGB to Pyramid Stage and onto Other Stage at the end :)
Was better in the days when we could jump the fence.
People still try it!
