How do you lock someone?

To lock onto somebody you need to hit them with any melee move (m1s, rushes, etc) and then use a move that uses the lockon mechanic. Before you use the move, hold down the right mouse button and then press the button for the move. If you are on mobile it will automatically do the locked on variant of the move if you are locked on to somebody.
