Now this is how you make a real past ost!
This is really good bro
This feels like something out of Tetris CDI for me
If I ever find a way to mod this on my copy of Sonic CD 2011, I will give you a metal for all these wonderful remixes!
Someone made mods already
aesthetic and prehistoric
These past music ones are calmer and they give comebacks to present and bad futures
Question: Can one day you make a video, where you breakdown each of your past remixes? Would've loved to see that
Break them down how?
In any case, I'm using different software to make my music than I was when I made these, and I've since gotten a new computer, so I don't have the original project files anymore
@@km_studios fock, that's sad((
Also, I meant breaking them down as in "which elements you used from each version to evoke a specific feeling, while also kind of explaining why, did you thought those songs had that specific feeling")
Kind of like that youtuber named Alex does with Sonic CD songs)
Kind of wanted to hear a takes from a remixers head)
Btw, while we're at it - which software (or to be specific VSTs/Soundfonts) you used to make those past remixes? Just wanted to try meself to make song in this style)
@@AlinaAniretake I think I mostly used the SGM and Arachno Soundfonts. (I don't remember exactly what soundfonts I used for each instrument)
@@km_studios Gracias)
Nice first and this sounds kinda like the jp one just relaxing keep up the good work
Good! Great! Awesome! Amazing! Outstanding!!!
Outstanding comes before amazing 😜
Ooopsie whoopsy!
Reminds me of that thing that someone would say in Sonic Colors when you pressed A a bunch of times in the air
This is great, but my only problem is that despite how strong this sounds; it still has a bit of weakness to it, still very nice though :)
(same guy just on a different account) I think that the song sounds way too "samey" the whole way through and a the piano is a bit quiet + isn't really the most fitting instrument; but this still sounds great :)
I like the reference to the official Present medley.
I wish this was reall
Wow, nice
Tidal Tempest ACT 2 Past
THIS IS JUST WHAT I WANTED
These feel too high quality to be past mixes, the past mixes used the 16 bit sega cd soundchip
Feels Nostalgic
Can't wait for collision chaos!
i love this idea, i never understood why both games used the japanese version of the past theme, it was unfitting for the US, this sounds great and i'd love to see it for the other zones.
@Sir AZ i see, yes that makes sense now that you say it. i even have the sega cd sound font, and i knew that the other songs were like more high quality and prerecorded or something? i never took that into consideration. but still they could have made newer songs using the sega cd soundchip.
Feels like a genuine cave track. Beautiful work.
God damn. Just... wow.
This fits perfectly!
this is my favorite one yet
I wish I could go back in time to when I never heard this because I have been jamming to this NONSTOP FOR THE PAST 2 WEEKS ITS TOO PEAK
Man this song is PERFECT!!!!!!!!!!
I like this song
Third times the charm. 🍀🍀🍀
Acoustic Grand Piano (hit those low notes yo) (1 echo)
Bongos
FX 1 (Rain)/Synth Rain (both are the same sound set)
Agogos (?)
Melted Choir (2 echos)
Synth Bass 2/Hammer Bass (Is there any bass? That must be a quiet bass.)
Does that piano reach down to A0? I’m impressed!
Bright Acoustic Piano (no echo, but the sample has a lot of reverb)
Synth Strings 2 (bass layer)
New Age Pad
Choir (technically the patch is called "Saint Choir Aahs") (no echo)
Marimba (1 echo)
Bright Acoustic Piano (lead) + Atmosphere FX
Synth Bass 2 (very subtly playing the bass of the Bad Future)
Percussion (bongos, cuica, kick)
Tambourine (the low, metallic, breathy sound ... aka the GoldenEye sound)
No, the piano doesn't go down to A0. The lowest note is C2 (the lowest C on a standard piano)
I'm not a fan of Sonic CD's US soundtrack, but boy, this one is perfect. I thought the best one was Palmtree Panic, but then I listened to this today.
W-W-WHAT IS THAT SOUND????
Seriously dude, it's people like you who make me have faith in the Sonic fandom and convince me that our beloved franchise is not yet a sunken ship that the the fans sunk with it.
This is my 'new' sleep playlist =D
