I know! Ages since i touched on this wonderful couple. I am remaking 'I Will Find You' and it should be up in the new year. This will be my last video of 2010 unless I find the time to upload one other vid I've recently finished.
So, this is about Uncas, his last thoughts as the blade is against his throat, he remembers his life, and what he fought and is going to die for (Alice) (black & white parts are his memories) Somehow he knows, though his death brings the end... she will still find him.

since i watched this movie again after many years i realized that this couple is one of the very few and most beautiful ever! i love their chemistry and expressions almost without any words at all!
The love between Alice and Uncas is MAGNIFICENT. BEAUTIFUL.
I have no doubt that had Uncas lived...he would have looked after Alice, brought her back from her unresponsive state from the horror's she witnessed, and he would have married her.
This is beautiful..... I think Alice and Uncas relationship, thought subtle, is far more touching and romantic than the sort of stereotypical boy-meets-girl, love at first sight relationship between Hawkeye and Cora.
I especially love this video because it’s from Uncas’ perspective. Beautifully done. Good choice of scenes and music. Thank you for this.

One of the tattoo artists who put the markings on the stars said that Eric Schweig was, in person, the opposite of his character. He was pretty young at the time, he was outgoing and loud - lots of fun to be around, but his make-up guy was terrified that he'd show up with a black eye some Monday morning, something hard to fix with make-up. He sure has matured over the years - watch Big Eden or Blackstone - both present day films.
Sad sad ending ...to a love that never was.
Just watched this video again, and even though I’ve seen the movie ending countless times, this video made me tear up at the end when Uncas was falling from the cliff. I really felt his loss. The video also made me think of “Spark”. ❤
