That is first class metal work ! I enjoy watching pros that get such great results !
If you guys need help in central Florida hit me up. Awesome work by the way and stay safe on top of those roofs
F ya , that’s awesome , im doing a lot of fabrication and trailer repair, thank you , absolutely kicks ass
How do you get the rivets installed in the middle section ? Video only showed how to install the side rivets that seem pretty "easy" since it's on the outside... but what about the ones in the middle ?
Very nice job sir, experience can not be bought. I deff tried myself
where did you get that rivet gun ,
I have the same problem but i dont have those tools, how can i do a quick fix?
What's the name of this tool
AFTER THE SEALER ,BRUSH -ON THE TIN COAT SEALER .
How much was the bill
Do you have a video of a total roof install rolled aluminum I'm trying to install rolled aluminum on my fifth wheel 41 ft Hallmark cyclone toy hauler thank you
GREAT VIDEO !!
what is the hourly rate of such work?
@@romannazar wont share that info with anyone. I wil say experience and skill are a plus.
Can tell me what’s the tool name
Did you go over the old rivets with the sheeting since you are sealing or did you take them out?
Removed completely and replaced with new 3 /16 aluminum buck rivets on rails and 3/16 self seal pop rivets in aluminium skin . We use foam tape between the two surfaces around.
@@mikeydesilva8197 what's the cheapest tool to seal it underneath is that air hammer?
Congratulations nice
Your using pop rivits on your roof seems?
Not being a troll, but it’s best to put caulk under your roof seems and use buck rivets because a pop rivets doesn’t hold well enough and the roof will eventually work it’s self loose then causing leaks. Also using j mold around your roofs are way faster especially after installing nose rails. Not being a a** hole just giving some advice. Have a great day.
that is unit in my fleet , if it fails .
I will be paid to time and labor to redo it . It is a win win for our techs and shop .Customer repairs are as you described. I will not film those repairs as time is more limited.
Cool
man i really wish i could see these videos sooner. nice work, I needed this. also where do you get air tool for bucking the rivet?
THEY MAKE A TOOL TO FIND THE REVIT HOLES WHEN YOUR REPAIRING THE ROOF .
Thank you Malcolm for the comment. Tools available for this industry seem to be limited. Of course this is based on the tools My colleges, my shop supply and my self have or have had. If you can provide links or company names of these specialty tools , that would greatly appreciated.
Not everyone wants to stop make tools for there job . Happy holidays my friend
We made our own. It's called the hole finder. If you don't remove the old rivets and just add new ones, then the top rail is weakened, and it'll look like Swiss cheese.
I like the tape before the sealant! Great idea for a clean look .
Thats for the video . Not the normal practice. Our roofs always look personal . 90 percent of my work insurance repairs. Not rushed in and out express stuff , I wouldn't waste or have the time to video that kind of work.
