only 40$ a beer not bad
American ingenuity in action, well done !!! Can you do a mixed drink version of it too ? LOL.... WELL DONE !!!
I've been pouring beer since 1970, there is an easy way to pour a glass. Just pour into a tilted glass on the wall, it takes seconds to fill a glass with no foam.
Very clever and excellent job creation!
It's been 8 years in 2020 did these catch on? I havent been to a sports game in a while but I have not seen these at concerts or events?
Very cool invention!
fantastic idea !!!
There should be some permanent cups that you get a discount on if you bring them.
+Jake S The Germans have been doing that for centuries, perhaps without the discount.
Wow I would love to put our band logo on these, but sure the cost is way beyond what an independent artist can afford. What a great product
Saw this on an old episode of west coast customs on the cdw bus i think, and now in 2020 seems your kickin arse , ever thought about UK or australia , germany, most western countries would appreciate this...NEVERMIND theres a distributor here in QUEENSLAND .....👍👍
Yes sir! We operate in about 36 different countries!
Now I Shall make joke coasters that are made with the negative side of the magnet facing up so when you put your beer on it, it leaks everywhere!
It also gives you a souvenir without schilling out a bunch more money.
You do realize you're still paying for the whole thing?
this guy is a fucking genius
cant wait for the first one to choke on the magnet. lawsuit!
That cool
Holly ALL things that are Holy! That guy is a Rich Genius. Good idea.
give it 10 years this will be in every pub/club in the world
Not in the U.K. we like our glasses with a wiget. Everytime I see beer being poured in usa it is flat most of the time
+jason martin in aus the young teens cant handle there alcohol and end up glassing people, id rather drink a cold beer from a glass but i can see this is clubs within. decade
I wonder if it could be applied to soda?
beers are already very expensive at stadiums. Would cost even more to keep the magnet?? But if it is cheaper of actual price would be a cool suovenir to keep.
Was that guy at the end ordering a Hobosa?
Japan has that teleportation shit ...... even faster lol
the price of the apparatus
the true meaning of Judge me it's bottoms upthe conveyor belt of beers
Hey, how about some lids????
They used this and instead of filling beer they cool the drink with a coolant. Very quickly.
SAalud!
Wait just wait for the Chinese version lol
It is just as simple to have an overhanging dispenser fill regular glasses from the top automatically.
DavidFMayerPhD Then you're gonna get a lot of head and not the fun kind. Barkeeps fill up beer a certain way, haven't you noticed? It's not like a drink dispenser at a fast-food restaurant.
acountddd Then just have a little holder that holds them on an angle?
@@acountddd Thanks for the laugh 5 years in the future xD
What a wonderful example of a solution to a problem that doesn't exist. It is certainly a great marketing gimmick. The inventor should run for public office.
Interesting comment. Mind giving some further insights as to why you think so? Also, what platform should he run?
+Ed Reese Waiting in beer lines isn't a problem for me, as I don't drink cheap beer. However, for some people, it is a problem.
I'm not sure what your problem is, but I bet it involves your head being stuck up your ass.
+Mike Williamson What a stupid irrelevant comment about drinking or not drinking cheap beer or something anatomically impossible.. Your penchant for waiting on line speaks to your perceived value of your own time. It certainly appears to completely match your intellect.
+Bottoms Up Not at all. from a practical viewpoint it is useless since beer has been efficiently dispensed for centuries without the bottoms up approach. At the same time, I think it is a wonderful marketing device and would provide entertainment for your customers. In regard to profit, it may be a very useful device so congratulations on an innovative invention and I hope it is very profitable for you
+stephen cristinzio I was asked for that comment. Your most erudite statement indicates that for you, it should be written in comic book script. Maybe that would get through to you. Otherwise thanks so much for your most erudite and helpful remark. Have a great holiday. If you aren't aware of to which holiday I refer, look it up on a calendar with large print and get some help with the spelling. It is currently December 24.
That dudes gonna be fucking rich
costly and questionable sanitary conditions. The beer in the stadium cost enough already with out this costly cup
How about bottom up coke machine?
Who needs a beer so bad they have to pay $25.00 for one. Thats unreal.
From what I have noticed, people who go to NFL and NBA games tend to not give a rats ass what stuff cost. Go check what the game TICKETS cost, if you want to see something really "unreal".
You are right about that.
Eckert's Antiques It is ridiculous. This is what I hate about going to games. As if the ticket price wasn't enough. I got 2 dogs and 2 beers at Citifield and paid about $28. Ugh.
This idea is for sure worth BILLION'S OF BUCKS easy .The fct that it filled the cups from the bottoms with seconds and lines go fast as hell. This is going to change the way you go to a mickey ds or burger place the fountains drinks will have them one day too.All people need to do is pop there cup on the bottoms up machine and it fills the soda pop from the bottom.
I imagine that it will make life easier on the workers, too.
Isn't ingesting magnet dangerous? I mean there could be tiny bits dissolved by the beer...
What beer do you drink? I just want to know so I can avoid drinking a beer capable of dissolving a magnet in the time it takes to drink one.
By tiny bits I mean really really tiny. I'm no Chemist but just a paranoid guy.
*****
It's almost certain that the magnets are sealed with plastic.
Cup cost is 2-cents, magnet 50-cents? TOO EXPENSIVE!
Why would this cut down on beer lines? You still have to wait for someone to pour it and ring you out, I don't think technology is the problem at venues it is human.
Just sell cans of beers
so now venue beers will cost more than $7-8 now they will cost $10-12? i hope not :/
What they lose in individual cups they will recoup in the sheer volume of sales. A lot of people will forego buying when they just don't want to wait in line.
This is American ingenuity and Capitalism at work, folks.
A brilliantly 'simple' invention! Well done Springer!! BUT the main problem lives--i.e. the disgusting major brand cat's pee posing as 'beer' that the American public perpetually is palmed off with at all giant venues! We hear 2 major brands e.g. named by barman at the start-that unnacountably peddle the same old tasteless revolting stuff-as any REAL beer drinker knows -if you grab a warmer one by mistake you instantly GET how revolting they are! The U.S. has always had a few -very few -great brewerys on each coast like Samuel Adams or Nevada or Anchor Steam but only when the proliferating superb micro-brewery type product can successfully be mass produced will Americans adjust to 'get' the pleasure of GREAT beer!
Great, now with the plastic waste you add a layer of metal as well. Just watch how they fill beer glases at Oktoberfest and go with that method.
But that method is SOOOOO wasteful! Did you know that it takes as much as 500 gallons of water to brew one gallon of beer (from crop to glass)? On average thirty percent of every keg is dumped down the drain. That is a lot of wasted water, fossil fuel in hauling extra grain and beer, time... It goes on and on and on and on. Dumping beer down the drain is not just wasting the beer. It is wasting all of the energy it takes to make that beer as well. That is the real tragedy.
Are you supposed to be a joke?
reinbert Nope! You? :)
How about simply hiring a few extra people at $6.00 and hour to pull beer from regular taps?
Why does everything have to be complicated for nothing?
+Skibble5150 for a big company easier to write off equipment on tax and claim depreciation than on going wages
cool so now beer at the game will cost $25 instead of the $12 they are already charging us. cool invention though.
this won't take off
Fun until it leaks beer on you or you accidentally hit the magnet. Great idea but just a gimmick.
If you accidentally hit the magnet and spill on yourself, the fault is on you. Once this becomes ubiquitous people will know not to poke the magnet. You can spill beer on yourself with a normal pint glass, and if you're really incompetent you can use a straw.
$4,000...pass.
It was as usual invented by the Chinese !
