I had to have Jodie go back to Jay. I've read that others found the Navajo chapter to be pointless and boring, but I loved it. It was literally the only time Jodie was able to be at peace, minus fighting the spirit. She wasn't homeless, manipulated in a war zone, or bullied by teenagers. She smiled in that environment. Jay didn't trust her from the beginning, something Jodie knows about, but it only took a few pieces of dialogue for them to connect. Plus I hated how the game pushed Ryan on us.

If more context was put on Jodie and Ryan's relationship then I might understand but from what I saw. He was rude to Jodie when picking her up, he lied into making her kill innocent people and he basically used her for the CIA's purpose. Also, Ryan looked about 25 - 30ish when picking up a 15-17ish Jodie which to see them in a relationship looked a bit creepy but hey, just my opinion as I respect others;)

I picked this ending. Jodie seemed to really want a romance, she didn't have a family, and this provided both. She gets to see Aiden with this ending. It's (mostly) a place she associates with sanctuary, whereas with the formerly homeless folks, the associations are with a depressing/low point in her life. This provides a different perspective to learn about the entities as well. Ryan was a jerk, and that's putting it mildly. Don't lie to my character to get them to topple a democratically elected leader, killing a substantial number of people along the way. It's just a no go after that. I suppose the ending did succeed in making me feel a bit sorry for him though. Jay was kind of a jerk when first meeting Jodie, but Ryan was more of a jerk when they first met, for less reason. Once they'd known each other for a bit, Jay seemed like a decent person. Getting to know each other for a bit was all they really got to do, alas. I suppose they have time to build on that!
also when they first met, Jodie was a teen and Ryan was an adult... i know they went into romantic when they are both adults but it just doesn't sit right with me. (also the fact Aiden has never interrupted Jodie and Jay..)

I understand why almost the majority of people want Ryan, but the only reason for that is because the game pushes you more to Ryan and spends less time on Jay. If we got to know Jay as much as Ryan, then the majority of people would choose Jay. She's better with him on the long run.
I personally would have loved to go back to Jay, but I think that Jodie belongs with Zoey. Though I wouldn't mind if she gave a visit to Jay from here to there.

all this play through i wanted to choose jay even to the very end but ryan did do his due diligence in being there for her an redeeming himself in the end sometimes life is like that we can either meet them an comeback or meet someone new who shows us they can be great in their own way
It said 'still here' in every ending that Jodie lived in, so yeah, it is Aiden. Plus, if it were that evil spirit, I'm sure it just would have tried to kill them in that long span of time she wasn't on the ranch.

I don’t like Ryan his redemption arch was NOTHING compared to all the shit he did to Jodie he KNEW the CIA was just using her he KNEW they just saw her as a weapon and he still just went “welp orders and orders fuck yo life” and Aiden didn’t like him for a reason but with Jay things are different the moment I played the Navajo chapter I knew Jodie was meant to be there a place to start a family with people who are used to having entities around in a quiet calm place with no one to hurt her THAT is what Jodie deserved

all this play through i wanted to choose jay even to the very end but ryan did do his due diligence in being there for her an redeeming himself in the end sometimes life is like that we can either meet them an comeback or meet someone new who shows us they can be great in their own way

It said 'still here' in every ending that Jodie lived in, so yeah, it is Aiden. Plus, if it were that evil spirit, I'm sure it just would have tried to kill them in that long span of time she wasn't on the ranch.
