Yes, it's just a clean port. This game already had its own charm, so a graphical update wasn't necessary. Ofc there are some new technologies like dlss and the shadows, draw distance and lights are better. Most importantly shooting with keyboard and mouse is very satisfying and they used the RDR2 keymapping completely. So the transition from RDR2 to this game is very easy now.
@ good to know it kept the rdr2 key mapping which is quite a huge thing. in DE GTA Trilogy they changed it so much that I had to relearn how to fly helicopters and planes
Wait doesn't RDR1 have a Winchester rifle? Or was it Lanchester haha? I'll check tomorrow but shooting with Keyboard and Mouse is pretty satisfying, now I enjoy the game 2x more
Oh yeah, it's a great port. I'd call it even perfect but there are a few minor, fixable npc bugs. But game plays great, runs great. And I'll definitely share the whole story, probably 1 part every day
I died in the duel tutorial... I had no idea what I was supposed to do. I kept pressing the right mouse button to aim but nothing happened. Could you help me out and describe how you did that?
Oh, I didn't use the right mouse button, just move John's hand towards the trigger, then move it up and he will auto-draw the gun. then just paint the shots with the left click. It's actually quite simple. I guess one of Call of Juarez games had the same duel mechanic.
@gamermanofficial Gunslinger, yeah. Played that a while ago. Great lil game. I didn't realize you were actually controlling Johns hand. I assume just by moving the mouse. Thanks man!
I think it's actually a good thing they kept the original art style

Imagine if red dead 1 has the iconic winchester M1907?

John acts like he didn't kill 500 O'driscolls in 1899 alone😂
Dang is the pc version good bro? Gonna share entire story?
