This looks great. I had no idea what forged carbon fiber wrap was until a new hire at my job brought his 392 Charger and his hood was wrapped with it. The way the sunlight hit it was awesome. Makes "regular" carbon fiber look bland. Your Escalade covered in it is next level and I've ever been in love with a Cadillac until now 😆. Great job again man. Keep it up.
Looks Fantastic That’s a different look specially in the sunlight it really pops 💎💎👍👍✌️🇨🇦
wow love the look its the closest look to the epoxy finish forged carbon effect I have seen, I will try that vinyl looks nice to work with as well
Wow! This demonstrates the size of the "fight" in you to protect the paint. Great idea and splendid execution.
Wow!!! Great job
I wish u live in Las Vegas, ur such a perfectionist. I would love to let you work on my Escalade 😊
Should definitely add that vinyl on some interior accents.
You’re a lot braver than I am! Beautiful job!
Very good job! You are talented to be able to do this and to take the doors apart to take off the mirrors etc. I do things like this too but not at your level.
Thanks 🙏🏻 I make this videos to help others. Of course it takes patience, practice and a willingness to accept some failures along the way
Looks like you hit a bucket of paint on the highway. Not sure I would’ve used this wrap but it’s kinda cool. Or unique.
It was a 5 gallon bucket. Joking aside, I was asked to review a new-to-market vinyl. It was better in person, but I have since changed it to a couple different wraps actually
Great job Don! You strike me as someone with incredible patience. That looks so tedious and I wouldn’t have kept my composure, but you seemed to breeze through it. Well done.
Thanks 🙏🏻 It does take patience, but after doing many wraps now, when you are done and it lasts, it feels worth the effort
Awesome
looks freakin awesome!!! i'm thinking of repainting my escalade - its a 2010 model, but a wrap could be useful too. the only thing is that i wont be able to take it to a traditional car wash with a wrap
Thanks!! If done well with a quality material, a wrap can easily survive car washes.
Bruh, I like this video and in depth you took to make this video... sure lots of negative feedback I see, but non have a single "how to wrap " video on their page 😂😂😂😂
Anyways I did my roof wrap the same carbon color but the matte finish and not sure if I should wrap the entire car or just roof and hood but the Escalade looks like a beats! Excellent video 👍👍👍😎😎😎
Nice! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Came out really nice!!!! Question the hood u have hanging on the wall what kind of pattern is that called? I like that
Outstanding.
@@Donslife Your projects are amazing. God bless my you and your family.
Hey... do you have any tips to remove the clear protective cap?? I bought the same roll from Vvivid and I can NOT find an edge to remove the cap??? 🤷♀
The protective cap is pretty easy to peel. Are you 100% sure it has one? I would contact VVIVID and confirm
WOW! How did you talk her into this wrap? Looks fantastic, how long did it take you to complete the whole project and how many yards did it take to complete? It takes lots of patentice and attention to detail and you have both, good job bud!
Thanks, it was agreed upon before we took delivery. Part of my channel is DIY wraps so if it helps people that want to see what’s involved, it makes it worth it for me. It took about 4 days or 30ish hours. It does require patience for sure. It can be frustrating when sections don’t work out, but you also learn new techniques
Good work! but, I could never do that to my truck as I love the color of it
Well done, SUV looks great! I'm thinking of wrapping my car with Forged Carbon vinyl as well. How is it been holding so far? Does it look dirty fast? Would you recommend it?
Thanks! I really like how unique it is and durable (self healing properties). It confuses people though since it can look like it is dirty when it isn’t or covered with bugs, when it isn’t 😂
Who wants their Cadillac looking like a Military vehicle. Great wrap work but that took the elegance from the Escalade.
Fair. This is the first wrap out of 3 I have now installed on this Escalade. Fortunately for me, I get to test put new films when they come to the market. My experimentation is meant to help others. Here is a video with the next wrap. You may hate it equally, but most people loved it. Thanks for watching.

No hate man, but I'm not digging the wrap. IMO, it just makes it look dirty at a passing glance. Just my thoughts though.
Does the wrap effect your parking sensors?
Not this wrap with this vinyl. I am prepared to cut them out if something changes, but for now the film has laid down tight against them
Kinda wish yall didn't go cheap on the camera used to record this.
Looks like it's running on about 15 FPS when you are moving around, everything gets blurry.
I'm sure it looks amazing, but I don't think this camera gives justice to it's beauty.
How did you get door handles off ?
Torx screw holds onto a retainer. Access it from the side of the door (behind a circular plastic cover). The drivers side is hidden behind a bolt you remove first from the side of the door, then move a piece over to reveal the torx screw. The handles usually have wiring connected you have to access by taking the door panel off and pulling back the plastic barrier a bit.
@@Donslife Sheesh I’m wrapping one now and I realized I didn’t charge enough haha
@@Donslife another thing .. I’ve done the back doors but the front doors are a little different .. I don’t know how to unclip the big piece passenger door
Are you talking about removing the door panel? You can email me or message me on instagram. Links are in my video descriptions
Great job, but my suggestion is I would take it off, it looks like it didn’t get a car wash, just my opinion
It was a text. How is this wrap? How To Wrap a Car, Truck or SUV - Key Tips To Avoid Failure!
ua-cam.com/video/0eThguPq16E/v-deo.html
When you can afford an Escalade, then you can make a "suggestion".... for now, since you have 0 how to videos and drive tour moms hyndai.... your opinion is irrelevant 😂
Sold out 😔
awful suv, but you did a great job.
Dude, your focus function on your camera sucks
Vivid is literally the worst wrap brand
VViViD’s films vary and many have improved over time. Also depends on what you’re wrapping
I am using VViViD's Forged Carbon Gloss Vinyl for this project:
