Welcome to St. Thomas Aquinas College’s Ash Wednesday virtual service.
As we prepare for this Lenten season, a season, traditionally, as President Daly has said, of sacrifice and reflection, it is important for us to remember that this year, during COVID, it may need to be a time beyond that. It may need to be a time where we look beyond what we are sacrificing and look instead to what we can give others. In a time when so many feel isolated and alone, maybe our sacrifice is not allowing them to feel those isolations.
