when i attempted I noticed that my flashers/turn signals ONLY work while my side markers/ Park lamps are on I don't have auto or DRL feature on my 01ram I don't want to have to turn on my Park lamps every time I change lanes .so my question would be if it would be an issue if I ran a second wire directly to LED signal light? thanks
That is because it’s using marker power to light up the light and when you activate the turn signal, it will activate coil which then interrupts the circuit going to the marker light( making it flash as a turn signal) but with markers off you’re not getting power going through the relay at all. I’m still trying to figure this out myself as I want turns signals during the day without marker power but want marker lights and turns at night.
I have a 1985 nissan 720 and ive tried this and it does not work no matter what i try the markers will come on but will not blink. What am i doing wrong? Do i have to change the bulb? Does it have to be an LED? Can you make any bulb blink? Im lost please help
One of the simplest and best explanations anywhere on the internet
Thank You for the video and the information. Could you please provide a part number for the 5-prong relay?
Am looking to add turn signals to my side mirrors. Do you need a relay for that? I just need to tap into my signal wires but am clueless.
You can tap into the wires. no need for a relay
well first are the light on the mirrors also acting like side markers or only turn signal?
So where is the other relays for the other side?

@mtable5739 I am having same problem. Did you find a solution?

Only problem with that is that the markers don’t blink at the same time as the indicators
Would one relay handle both directions or would I need one relay for each side?
One for each side.
Thank you so much brother
I did this but when I use my turn signals the parking lights don’t work after

Where would you put it if you had to do it on a car dolly trailer?
Mount small pelican type case
I tried to do that and every time you push the brakes you don't got no signal light or anything
