Director: Sam Newfield
A reporter on the trail of a business tycoon, follows his subject onto an ocean liner and gets wound up in a cruise full of intrigue, romance and murder!
When I was but a small buckaroo I had a Hopalong Cassidy saving account at the bank. This was in the early 1950s.
The last non-Hopalong Cassidy film for Boyd.
Watching and enjoying! Thank you, PizzaFlix.
Billing him as William (Bill) Boyd was to prevent confusing him with William "Stage" Boyd another actor of the 30s who got a bad reputation. The confusion between the two created problems for this William Boyd.
I had been waiting for a film like this , on board ship 1930's ,a lot of the movies are on ships , but this has a lot of outside shots
Never, ever put all your money in one investment, cuz you can become broke in one day.
A good crime fighter !
Excellent
I love William Boyd-Hopalong Cassidy is my hero and this is great💙💙💙
W. boyd is in a little different role not as hoppy but still fighting crime.

Gugliermo Bird.
3:45 surprise appearance
That's Hoppy
It's Always good to find a William Boyd Movie! Even in Slick street clothes. I wonder what Boat His Ancestors came over in... I'm quite sure He died Saved!! Because he was a good teacher at least.. "Little Hoppies make sure you go to Sunday School and listen to your Mothers"... A Great Guy.
Married five times; he oughta know ! LOL
Boyd did not look handsome at all in this movie. Perhaps it was the unflattering camera angles, but he looked overweight and bald in the front. I still enjoyed the movie and thanks for posting it. I recognized the captain from the movie Sinister hands.
Boyd had a full head of hair, light-toned, and turning silver. The poor film quality shows more contrast and glare than it should. That's what you're seeing.
I have “loved” him from my young youth so long ago. For a short while I dressed as a cowgirl and called myself “Hoppy.” He looks handsome and wonderful to me-you are perhaps objective, very real and objective; I am definitely subjective and filtering through memories and emotion. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder as filtered through the lens of fondness and sweet memories. But it makes me happy to see these oldies restored and put out for viewing. A good mystery and a good romance💜💜💜
The sound in this one is really bad in places.
Another great movie from PizzaFlix.
Worth watching and great fun!
