      That's pretty dam good bro.. keep going! We just testing playing around we got 3 more TP motors to test. We have a good idea of what's going to put us on top, we just want to know if any other motor can do!!

    So you are running 29t pinion and the Stock 34t spur?

    • @jaysonpunancy4144
      @jaysonpunancy4144  4 роки тому

      Sorry, I don't remember what gearing we were running in this video. I'm sure it was the stock spur, not sure on the pinion.

    Great Scott Marty! That was an awesome run! In the future Arrma has a new car called the Infinity that runs on fusion battery technology and does 400mph out of the box! 🤣

    • @1521joe
      @1521joe 5 років тому

      relax bro, fusion Tech is in its infancy, it will be several years before industry is using Fusion tech electricity storage, and a further few years thereafter before its available to the masses and their Hobbies.
      What is good, is the fact your aware whats in the pipeline, for that i commend you.

    What size jx servo do you have in there? I was told not to cheap out on the servo, but shit I don't even care I'll just get standard

    • @jaysonpunancy4144
      @jaysonpunancy4144  5 років тому

      It's a 20kg JX. Inexpensive slower servo but has very good torque. Prefer slower servo for speed runs. Been working great so far

      In the RC games cheap mean thay trying to get their name out there & thay want u to give them a try.. cheap is not always bad In RC.. I bought expensive and some time dont work, so just know price dont determine anything

      We run multiple different brands including ProtekRC 4s, Hobbystar 4s, Ovonic 4s. All 1/8 buggy standard size 4s.

      Was not getting 100% throttle. Did go faster in this video: ua-cam.com/video/bSRliNBAiGE/v-deo.html
      But then the armature spun on the shaft. Motor couldn't handle it..

    At 80 mph u r traveling at 153 feet per second, probably not the greatest idea to stand in the middle of the road. Love the built

      Funny you say that.. I have the 12S ESC ready to install. Will probably do an install video with the ESC and electronics, followed by a run video. The motor we are currently running is 12s capable. So will probably start off with some 10s runs first. Stay tuned.

      Yeah not for everyone, but don't knock it till you've tried it. I thought the same thing until I actually tried it.. and hit over 100mph, now I'm hooked. Normally I am more of an offroad 1/8 buggy racing kind of guy, but I enjoy most forms of RC..

      @@jaysonpunancy4144 fair enough. I had a traxxas Revo a while back, just great fun.
      Used to build the old Tamiya stuff back in the day, like the sand scorcher. Yeah I’m old😜

      @@str1xt Hey I'm bright there with you! I started out with Tamiya as well! Had a Grasshopper and a Lunchbox! I remember some dude in a Cadillac ran over my Lunch box, he stopped the car looked at me and then he just took off! So hurtful smh 😥😥. I rebuilt it though. I'll never forget that. 🤣

    45000 rpm , Divide that by 8s ( 29.6v) will give you a Recommended 1520kv motor.
    That Big Block 1650kv motor can be pushed a little further, with the correct gearing you can get 130mph...... heat will rise a little though, but all in all, this Rig is G2G.
    Many thanks goes out to you man.

    • @jaysonpunancy4144
      @jaysonpunancy4144  4 роки тому

      We did end up pushing it further and hitting 123mph in this video: ua-cam.com/video/bSRliNBAiGE/v-deo.html
      It probably could have hit 130mph, but the armature ended up spinning on the motor shaft. Guess it couldn't handle either the RPM or heat. Thank you for the compliments!
